There have been a few 13B powered S13s... (I'm sure a thread like this already exists.)

Some guy on here was gonna swap in a ford escort motor or something... I can't quite remember if he finished it or not.

I'm hoping this is sarcasm on someone's part. Either, that guy or you.

that is the dumbest thing i've heard today. that swap took some serious thought and ingenuity to pull off. it's like that awd sr'd civic hatch that one guy built. it's bad a**, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Yeah H22 s13, though kind of ridiculous, gets my stamp of approval. Guy did some serious work and made it look good.

And to set the record straight, it was not an Escort motor, it was a 3.0L Duratec V6 out of a Taurus or something. Guy was/is convinced you can make a stinkload of power with one. ???

its actually kinda simple....

he matted the h22 up with a honda s2000 transmission....

seeing how they are pretty much the same car (prelude and s2k) you can see why its pretty simple

like an rb26 with an rb25/20 transmission.... predecessor and successor.

still pretty weak imo

h22 are balls for power

i personally woud have just done the full f20c swap rather than throw in a f20b.

but it seem kinda pointless just like this...

I'm still trying to figure out if you mean they have a lot of power, or none at all.

Yes. 1st Gen with Silvia headlights.

Terrible.

Why would someone even post a DSM?

that is not a very simple swap at all. the prelude and s2k are not even close to being the same car, neither are those 2 powertrains, the bellhousing on the H is completely different. also notice how the distributer has been moved to the timing belt side? also for a n/a 4 banger the H has a good amount of power. my friends civic used to snap stage 3 axles 1 out of 3 launches. i wouldnt bash on it till you can see what it does

Isn't that car with the h22 from france? I read something long while back.

And to the guy that posted preludes and s2000 are basically the same, how? The prelude is front wheel drive and the s2000 is rear wheel drive.

Also, base model prelude h22 has 190hp and the prelude sh has a lsd and 200hp, aren't redtop sr's 205hp with a turbo?

Why are people b1tching the op asked what was the strangest swap.

Also 1st gen (90 to 94) dsm's don't get crank walk, the 2nd gen (95 to 99) dsm's do because mitsubishi went cheapo with the aluminum block on the 2nd gens.
