Has anyone used this device before? http://www.cartronics.com/POM.html It plugs into your iPod connector and allows you to bluetooth stream music from your iPhone/iPod, while still controlling the device like normal via your console/nav. I spoke with the manufacturer and the only requirement they had was that the vehicle connector provide 5V or 12V (to power the AnyStream device). So, 2 questions: 1.) does anyone know if the 2008 M35 (or similar) provides 5V/12V? and 2.) has anyone tried the Cartonics AnyStream in a 2008 M35? Thanks!

Do you have an iPod connector currently? Why not just use that to connect to your device?

Also, Bluetooth will NEVER have the same quality as a physically connected device. You should just get a USA Spec. device and call it a day. Will cost you more, but quality will be better.

USA Spec. PA15-INFI is for M's with Satelite installed (meaning you can subscribe to XM/Sirius and get radio). Installs in the trunk.
USA Spec. PA15-NIS is for M's with a radio that allows for satelite but doesn't actually have it installed. Installs behind the radio.

So the issue here is 'control' of the iDevice? I still say get the USA Spec. It allows for control of the iDevice music via steering wheel controls, etc.
