Bluetooth Cellphone Feedback?

Hi all. I recently decided to throw in the towel with my E39 528i, and got a black/black M45.

I love the M45! Besides having many more cool tech features than the BMWs, they were also much better thought out from a UI stand point -- I really liked that.

The one feature I am having a problem with is the Bluetooth Cellphone link. I have an LG VX8100. Calls say they can hear me just fine, however when they speak they hear themselves echo back. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it the cellphone, or something wrong with the car? When I pick up the handset and turn off the BT the callers state everything sounds fine again. Not sure how to go about troubleshooting, or even where to start poking
