Sorry bro, but the lids just do not do it for me...I also have the same color car.

Going to sound but does the light shine through the lid?

looking down on the car is what i really do not like, but the front shot rocks .

It seems my age could have a factor in liking or not liking...

I really want to add some eyelids, my huge problem is the vinyl dosnt match the car. which is why I havnt cut my own. I'd prefer fiberglass eyelids that I could actually color match. I've been thinking maybe just going flat black since other pieces on my car are flat black anyways but yea the winter forest color just dosnt match gloss white vinyl but thats just my opinion.

I thought that at 1st, but now I'm thinking it's because of the color. Being white, any gaps are going to be magnified 10x. I think on a darker car, you really wouldn't notice it. Props to the OP for modding his car without being ricer.

ehh in my honest opinion... in those pics the lids color and car color dont match... the car looks like an egg shell white... while the lids look like a glossy or super white. the color difference is the first thing i noticed and then the gaps.

Had to say it...(dont take offense anyone!) "You're in my home. White people who know the difference between good shet and bad shet , this is the house they come to. Now, my shet.. I'll take the Pepsi challenge with that vinyl shet, any day of the f'in week." -Lance

Heres where the water seperates from the oil.. it may just be a shoddy install, but light shines thru? no go in my book...

reflexx.. dont take this as an insult by any means... (its been noted many times that installs like this are super difficult)...

I got mine for 55 and got them painted free (woulda cost me another 20).... and i could have put them on in the dark... perfect fit... Theres plenty of BUDGET mods out there.. follow my path.. price is king.. and retail is for suckers! What a sweet 1st ride... keep it clean, keep it classy!

YEp, yep...shoh nuff the black looks like professional install,

sorry Flexx, man you are taking away from the beauty of the white Altima with the vinyl off color white crap. even if you are 17....but that is my .02 IMHO....

I have the exact same color car you have Flexx

yeah... not my cup of tea either.

if you're gonna do lids, do it right, or don't do it at all IMO. you're gonna make the car look WORSE than it originally did.

as long as you like it, its all that matters.

Yup, I'm going the same route as you exactly because of this. Will be ordering from e-bay soon enough.

they both look the same to me and i personally would never take that route with the other options out there. of course the black eyelids are going to look better than the white because you don't notice the gap on the black because the space between the eyelid and the hood is going to be a darker shade than white. but again... i think eyelids are cheesy lookin' anyway.

Ok guys... im going to take some more pics of mine in a min and post them here.. its not because mine are black, its because they dont end at the edge of the light like the see-thru vinyl does. They wrap around under the hood so it doesnt look like this... stay tuned...

Also, if you want to EMAIL THE SELLER and get it for cheaper than the ebay auction by going direct, send CURTIS an email at [email protected] and tell him LongBeachCoupe sent ya!

x100

Eyelids have always look cheesy IMHO. I have seen the most expensive eyelid upgrades, in the hundreds of dollar ranges, on M3's and other show BMW's many times. They always turn out looking like they didn't come on the car for a reason.....sorry

Ah, but thats the beauty of tasteful upgrades. To the basic on looker, the fascia looks like it could be stock, but they aren't sure. You dunno how many times people don't realize I have after market bodywork done on the car. Its because it flows so nicely. I don't put things on my car that stick out. I put things together that flow and blend well to make a great looking, after market, package
