UPDATE!!!!!

i called my PO and i got clearance to go to the gainesville Raceway tomorrow to "test and tune" my car, he's about as cool as a probation officer can get.. anyways, i'm hoping to break into the 12's, you guys think she'll make it? here's my list of power mods...

custom Pulsar GTIR TB2804 (journal bearing T28)GReddy Profec B Spec II set at 11.5lbs, (will adjust "hi boost" setting to 14.5-15lbs as the ECU is tuned for that)4" FMICfull 3" APEXi exhaust w/megan turbo dump pipeGRID tuned ECU (tuned for 1.5bar, FMIC, Exhaust, hotter timing/fuel map, speed/fuel cut)VLSDFidanza 9lb flywheelACT un sprung 6 puckbad a** tiresMegan Street Coils (suspension matters!!!)Z32 FFf/r sway barsKoyo rad (cooler motor runs better!!!)elec fan (no clutch fan drag pull s***)leightweight pulleysWalboro 255

i'm hoping to get into the 12's as that's where i think i should be..... my black car ran a best of 16.11 with average bolt ons and advanced timing I/H/E etc..

any guestimates of what i should be running??

and don't i need a helmet if i break 12's? thank god i have one!!!

i know, it's not drift, but it's gonna be nice for bragging rights, and to see what i can do with it, as i've never had it down the 1/4...

cause it awesome to live your life 1/4 mile at a time guys....

here's my best run of the night, and i bogged off the line kinda bad.... i know with better tires, and some more practice with the launches (not used to SR with Fidanza), i can get high 12's....

R/T-.51460'-2.316330-5.9381/8-8.849MPH-86.571000-11.371/4-13.400MPH-108.02

i like that time, cause i've been saying since the beginning of this SR build "if i can make this car as fast as my 07 Mustang GT/CS, i'll be happy.... and well, Road and Track rates the stang @ 13.9 in the 1/4... so i'm beating a new mustang by over .5 sec... AWESOME, oh, and i also beat my buddys 1995 KAT (one three of three races with him, on the third he blew his motor on a misshift).... WIN!!! i'll get some vids up when i figure out how to transfer from my camcorder....

BZ!!!!!Blackzenki82 and Clawhammer...staging lanes.....GET READY!!!staged!!

that's all for photos now.... like i said, i'll try and get some vids up soon!! videos also include my buddy blowing his KAT all over the track, FUN TIMES!!!!

Nice, put the stock rear shocks and springs on next time you go to thee track, I was cutting 2.0 60' no problem on 195/60/15 cooper cobras lol. I ran about the same times as you did in the 1/8 with less power.

Oh yeah and try to go easy on the gear changes so you keep traction. make them faster and faster untill you start breaking them loose again. so you know the limit the track will hold.

yeah hopefully, cause at least with nistune, i'll be able to upgrade/downgrade any time i want to... without having to send my ECU off to get reflashed, all i gotta do is pull out the lap top, clear the "DANGER TO MANIFOLD" screen, and tune it myself for whatever i do...

so great news, a buddy of mine on another forum was going to sell me his stock #62 SR ECU for the low low price of only $30 shipped... but unfortunately, he doesn't have paypal, nor does anyone he knows...

good thing is that since i've helped him with so many of his SR problems, big and small, and basically helped him get his car running from 800 miles away, he's decided to just go ahead and donate. yeah, GIVE me the ECU so i can install my Nistune on it, instead of my GRID tuned SR ECU (i was wanting to sell the GRID ECU to help offset the price of the Nistune...)

it's good to know that some of the help and pointers i give out on these forums I'm on, comes back around when i really need it... good people, good times...

the Nistune setup should be at my door sometime at the end of this week (i went ahead and got express shipping from Australia), and hopefully the stock ECU should be here as well....

quick little update....

Got my AEM UEGO Wide band installed....it's in a temporary location till i get my next 240.. what's interesting, is that with this GRID ECU, the wide band leaves me a bit rich at 16.2lbs... i can probably run 18 safely, but i hear that stock SR head gaskets fail around 17-18lbs, so i'll set my profec "lo" setting for a daily 10-11lbs and the "hi" setting for around 16.5... at least until i get my nistune installed, then all kinds of things will change... GRID ECU IS FOR SALE $250 OBO

and for the BIG BIG update.... NISTUNE!!!!!!!! finally came in today, the board, the consult/USB cable, and my single user agreement, doesn't look like much for $433, but it's magic, and hopefully i'll be able to learn the programming in a timely manner.... now to find a #62 SR ECU to put it in...

oh, and i also got my Z32 MAF here waiting for install as well.... now to be on the prowl for some 700cc+injectors....

more updates to come....

well guys, i finally found my new S14 that i'll be swapping all my parts over onto.... i'll be picking it up on Monday, it's located 300 miles away, but you have to pay to play to get a nice clean S14....

this one is BONE STOCK, no mods whatsoever, the owner is in his 50's and it's an auto, so it's not been beat on at all... it also has fresh 9 mo old black/clear paint..

only mods are Brembo cross drilled and slotted rotors, and EBC green stuff pads

get ready for a big big SR swap.... be nice to finally have a mint Black Zenki again...

without further adieu, the pics.... may look a bit dirty but just got back from a 200 mile trip...

that's all for now, at least until i get it, and the price, I'm sure you wall want to know, i'm getting it for $3,500.... as you can see in the pics, it's f***ing MINT!!!one!!1!!!1

guess it'll be time to start a new build thread.... goddamn, my 3rd one....

old man throwing up signs lol.... he did that to show me the quality of the paint, even after driving 200 miles in the rain....

i'm going to have to make another thread, new car and all.... but i will continue this thread as i revert this car back to a KA 5 spd.... might even finish is off with a "DOHC swap" write up.... who know's...

either way, i'm picking up the new car on monday, trying to get some friends together for a mini road trip as it's gonna be a two hour drive, and i meeting him half way... ugh, i was hate to have to drive all the way... 4 hours there and 4 hours back? f***.... you gotta play to play i guess.... there was NO other S14's like this in my area, that were any where near this condition... most were $5000+ and in worse shape, still clean, but not near as nice as this one, and most were base models...

i drove a KA 5spd... i wonder how crappy a KA auto is... might have to do some super awesome Neutral @ 6k rpm to "D" burnouts... go ahead and grenade this auto transmission before i pull it out... might as well have some fun with it before i throw it in the trash eh?

so for its and giggles i figured i would post a couple pics of my new house that i'll be renting while my house is being built, it's a 2bd 1bth duplex, we got the unit on the right.... and it's actually bigger than the house we just sold... i've already talked to the landlord (a Major with the alachua county sheriffs office), about doing motor works, he says as long as i clean any oil spills/car mess, he's cool with it.... so i'll be doing all my big big swapping here....

just a neat shot... mind the dirty pony....nice manicured lawn....we got the unit on the right... nice driveway, prefect for two S14's mid project (no one lives in the left side yet)the dreaded drop.... i scraped going down this... i'll have to spend some time fixing this if i'm going to be putting my low S14 in and out the drive, doesn't look so bad in the pic, till you see it in person...

so this will be my humble abode for the next 6-7 months while my 2500+sqft house is being built on a acre and a 1/4... not a bad place, and i get a yard i can mow, and take care of woot woot!!!

that actually made me LOL....

and yeah man, i got my car over it earlier today, but i had to go WAY to the left... i'm a little scared pulling in my side of the drive.... maybe i'll give it ago... but there's a lot of jagged peices of conrcete that are looking at my fuel, brake, and elec lines like they want to have a good old time with em...

i'm actually kinda half unemployed right now.... but i'm usually a foreman on a siding crew when i am working... i got as many days off as i need to move and stuff...

thats what i do... and i trade, barter, haggle, hustle, and low ball to get most my parts and stuff... but i'm quickly running out of stuff to trade and haggle with.... then everything is going to be cash out of pocket... UGH... i went kinda crazy over the last two weeks though...

new S14 SE-$3500AEM wideband + $$ for bung welding-$290Nistune-$433Z32 MAF w/pigtail - $40 (yeah, i got it like that)stock SR ECU (to put Nistune in) - $60 (i got it like that too)wireless satellite card for laptop - $150 (in car tuning, AND high speed internet while driving 0wnz)

not to mention all the misc money i'll need for oils, fluids, misc parts i've been meaning to replace, and a butt load of beer when i do the swap

i'm about tapped out....
