okay, so an update.... and i'm pissed....
TPS sensor is gone to s***, and the one i got to replace it, doesn't FIT!!!!! ARG!!!i need the other one, where the "lever" is inside the circle and not outside...
so i pull all my OEM stuff out to put the 550's/Z32/Enthalpy ECU BACK in the car (remember, trading OEM ECU/APEXi filter for BIKIrom ECU), all goes well, car runs smooth for a while, then RPMs drop to like 400, and white smoke pours out the back like I'm seafoaming my car! OH NOES!!! smelled like unburnt gas something serious... also, i've used the 550CC's, Z32 MAF, and ECU before with no problems...
SO, i go ahead, and while i have everything else kinda pulled i do a compression test, make sure i didn't blow something out/up.....
Results...#1#2#3#4
SO, pretty much 160 across the board, always nice... so to try to resolve the issue, i replaced the plugs (old set #1 plug was black and wet, unburnt gas), and then hooked evey thing back up, and restabbed the CAS back and set timing at the crank.... in this pic you can kinda see the two darker links, above the crank notches, and perfect TDC...so as you can see everything is as it should be, notches on the cam gears match the links, the CAS notches line up like they should....
so i put every thing back together, and cranked her up again... this time, not bad... not exactly perfect either, it was still stumbling, but not as bad as before, and no white smoke, i guess that other plug just fouled out.... so i check time, disconnect my bad TPS, and crank it back up and throw the light on it... and it's over from 20* about 2 inches, but every time i go to set the notch at 15* the motor seems like it's about to die, like it's retarded (and not mentally retarded). it only runs somewhat smooth when i have it at about "45*" as far as the needle's concerned... why the f*** is it doing this???
so i got fed up with it all, got it to where it idles SOMEWHAT normal, and parked it beside my car port, then had the bright idea "why don't i pull codes off the ECU, and see what's happening?"... so i do, and here's the results
code 11= CAS (here's a new one!)code 43= TPS (already knew about that tho....)
so here i sit, writing this, fed up....
