not finished in those pics... those were taken after the first to coats of pearl/clear... still got three more clear coats to go, then some wet sanding and buffing!

well... yeah and no....

it was overcast outside, no my blue metallic flake pearl wasn't popping...

this is all i got....




trust me, it gets about 20 shades lighter in the sunlight...

He won't be updating this thread anytime soon. He went back to jail for violating probation 2 months ago. From what I hear he is going away for 2-5 not sure because I hear diffrent things from people here in Florida. I think his wife sold the GT-R to pay for his legal fees which sux

Yeah from what I hear, he went to a friends house to pick up a part for a customers car. His PO showed up at his house and saw he wasn't there ( he had to go str8 home after work and didn't). He got home 5mins after his PO left and called him. His PO went back and said it was cool. 3 weeks later his PO comes over and arrests him for Violation . This is what I was told by one of his closest friends. He is still waiting sentencing. I'm pretty sure the GT-R is gone. I know the S14.5 he had just bought is gone. His wife sold that the week he got taken in. Not sure how much it was sold for.

house in done... been moved in for about 7 months now (i've only been in it for 2, thanks jail!), but i love it, it's nice to finally have a place of my own...

yeah, sucks about the other cars, sold the black car to fix up the GTR, S14.5 is whatever though...

Thats great to hear BZ. What are your plans for the GT-R other then MOAR POWA? Is it going to be a clean daily/weekend track car? Thats what i'm aiming for with my S13.

super clean daily, and occasional weekend warrior for autox/road race days... i'l like to hit some real tracks with it like sebring, road atlanta, and roebling road... not to mention i'd like to bring it up to deals gap, and hit the tail of the dragon... to get it somewhat ready for that, i'll prob order a new Cusco safety 21 bolt in cage, and some Sparco harnesses for it... it's a nice cage, that doesn't get in the way of the back seat, or getting in and out of the car

there was actually a moment that it WAS sold, i was under the impression that i was going to be going to prison for my violation of probation, in which case, i was going to sell the GTR...

someone came, looked at it, agreed to the price, the bank approved the loan, and my heart sank... then the next day, the bank rejected the loan... turns out, a bank wont finance a imported car, i was happy as hell...

my jail/sentancing story is damn near made for TV... i couldn't make it up if i wanted...
