im having some issues..

i changed out the spark plugs a month ago because the car was running like ****..

i got a walbro with the stock fpr... i checked the plugs today because i was hearing a few misfires... they are pitch black..

i reset the ecu after that and my walbro pump stopped working too.. i changed out the relays and the car started again.. i put new plugs in.. revved the engine up a few times and turned it off... checked them .. and they were turning black again

what the **** is going on someone please help!!! IM STUCK

black powdery (rich) or black oily? maybe its not your sparks causing your miss. hows everything else? rotor, cap, wires and fuel filter? could also be an injector.

its black and powdery.. i just adjusted a new fpr on the fuel system and its running a little better... still having black smoke coming out the exhaust on 4 rpms + and my idle changes every once in a while.. not sudden.. i notice a power loss too

hows the compression?? sounds like you might be running really rich, has the ecu been tuned or anything??

Nah, he just messed up the plugs by cleaning the IACVJust drive them hard and should clean them up

stock ecu no tuning except for me screwin with the iacv and fpr.. fpr at 38 psi... on high revs i get black smoke 5-6 rpm

pr240sx might be right (but i didnt see the part about the iacv), go run it up and down the freeway a few times in fourth, heat it up pretty good. then go home, and check and change your plugs. check for new smoke.
