Correct. First one might be set at say 8-9k to launch and then top it out at about 17-18k depending on how they built that engine.

Oh BTW who thought that was a piston? Come on a rod is not going to break and send the piston flying up through the head and airbox and not do any more damage to the bike. What happend was it somehow backfired through the throttle body (they have 1 per piston) and it blew out a chunk of the airbox.
