sorry if i am h-jacking but i have a question on the Z32 30mm calipers, what rotor size does it take because if you convert 30mm it is 1.1811 inches, so will 1.2" rotors work with these calipers?

if they can then i think you can fab up your own kit using a Z32 30mm calipers, some wilwood 2 piece rotors or 330mm x 30mm 2p rotors, then you can proably figuare out the mount brackets or proably a machinest can then you need some 17 or larger

also does anyone know how high is the hat on a 300zx 30mm rotor, like if you layed a 300zx 30mm rotor on the ground, then lay a ruler on top of the hat, then stand a ruler on top of the surface area of the rotor and measure, or this wouldnt matter??

R32 gtr brakes isnt that Z32 30mm Calipers with bigger rotors like 12.75", where as the Z32 rotors are 11.6"? if it is then how did you mount it, GTR mounting bracket??

Sorry for double post

The r32 rotors are 11.75" and trhe z32 rotors are 11.00" The r32 rotors have a more efficient cooling system b/c the vents are tilted and suck in air as the rotor turns. R32/Z32 front brakes will fit on the s13/s14 chassis. The only mod you must do is cut the brake dust shield so the rotors will fit.

think you're right, cause they're the same size as the new Z's brembo rotors, and those are close to 13 in.

I know the main topic was NOT using the z32 or the Q brakes, but I've seen this really cool set up for 240s. It uses Z32 calipers w/ the 13.5in Supra rotors. It'll be featured on HCI mag here in a couple of months. :ylsuper

Hey I just bought a set R32 GTS brakes (F/R) for my 240...I hope they fit, they look just like the Z32's. Do you guys know what size Rotors I will need? And where I could get a deal on F/R's?
