I am currently shopping around for a wideband unit. I have read and seen many but I am looking for some real life feedback. Let me know some opinions.

I am personally going to go with the Zeitronix. I like the rectangular display setup on the ZT-2 and it's something that I can modify and put in a spot that will make my interior happy.

Here is a test on most of the popular brands out there.

I got an autometer wideband

Has adjustable stoich reading for different gas (pump, meth, propane, etc)Has full throttle afr feedback when the brown wire is connected to the throttle

And there is a connector which can be plug into standalone

When I first tune my safc by import intell. He likes my gauge over his aem because it reacts faster. (street tune)

That's a nice unit if your not going to do a permanent install. I've had a Zeitronix, LC-1, AEM, and a DIY one. They are all roughly comprable because they are using the same sensors.

I have heard a LOT of problems with the LC-1, but I have never had any issues myself.

Ive worked with the Zeitronix and Innovate units. Both worked nicely, and had decent displays. Ive also used the F.A.S.T. single sensor unit, it worked well, but the display was clunky, and kind of ugly.

Currently I am using an AEM all in one UEGO gauge. I like it a lot, it offers pretty much all the options of the more complicated units, without all the boxes and wiring.

I have a NGK AFX. It's cheap and I have no cmplaints. It has a rectangular digital box.

I run Innovate right now. Majority of the Supra guys run PLX.

Innovate's software is actually one of the more powerful ones out on the market. I'm not sure if there is a plug in out there to datalog from a consult port or not, but it can do a hell of a lot more than just tell you what your afr is.

( Im cheating this is direct from the AEM website .)A wideband UEGO sensor controller accurately monitors Air/Fuel ratios (AFR) during the tuning process to prevent a lean fuel mixture, which could lead to engine damage. AEM has combined its single-channel wideband UEGO controller and gauge display into one unit, uniting unsurpassed AFR accuracy and control with an easy-to-read interface. AEM’s Gauge-Type Wideband UEGO Controller features a digital LED display and sweeping LED “needle” that changes colors as AFR changes from rich to lean. The unit’s 52mm (2-1/16”) gauge housing fits in most gauge pods and can be remotely mounted virtually anywhere.

and the controller by itself Wideband UEGO Controller Modules FAQs...

A wideband UEGO sensor controller accurately monitors Air/Fuel ratios (AFR) during the tuning process to prevent a lean fuel mixture, which could lead to engine damage. AEM's Wideband UEGO Controller is available in single- and dual-channel models for everything from four-cylinders to V10s, and is the most affordable UEGO sensor controller available. This unit has a very low current draw, and features both 0-5v calibrated output and 0-1v calibrated output. This unit works with virtually any stand-alone engine management system.

hope this helps

I use the Innovative unit. The program is nice and easy to use. I haven't used any other setups so I don't know how it compares, but I find it easy to use.
