I'd say the only way my Megan parts will break are from smashing into a curb. In which case I wouldn't be pissed at megan.

I dont see why you guys get megan s***. Search the forum, you NEVER hear anything good about megan, and theres tones of pictures of broken parts. Just save up man. Buying megan is like buying Rainbow Marshmellows instead of Luck Charms. You know that s*** isn't gonna taste right.

I like Kazama suspension parts myself. I have the their tension rods and all three rear suspension links. Very beefy, high quality, and pretty light (compared to the OEM parts). Their only problem maybe they are not that available in the US as other companies.

Why are you making up stuff? Kazama (based in Kasugabe-City, Saitama Japan look it up its there) and Megan Racing (based in Southern Cal) are completely different companies and do not share any manufacturing facilities.

Kazama is a japanese tuning company that was known as the 1st to make parts just for drifting specializing in S13's and AE86's. Many manufacurers like SPL, Battle version, Tien, and even Cusco studied (i don't mean copied) their parts to see why they worked so well for drifting.

As far as MR (Megan racing) goes they are an american company that is able to make their parts a lot cheaper (as far as price). They started out just making simple things like sturt bars but have recently started moving really hard into drifting and they are currently learning a lot more about how to make quality components.

If you mostly DD your car MR would be fine but if you race or drift a lot you should go with Kazama over MR because Kazama is proven. MR is still trying to prove itself.

thanks man, i was kinda bummed when kuah told me the SPL ruca's & tension rods were going to be on backorder for a while. but then i found out about peak performance & bought their set. the rods are def beef compared to my buddys spl arms on his z32. they use t-6 on every arm except the ruca's. i like the green army anodize that they use on the toe & traction rods, & i had to pain the ruca's black cuz they came in a bling gold that really wasnt my flavor. but quality stuff none the less, & i noticed a huge difference in my cars handling, especially during transitions. here's a couple pics

i got the 4 arm set from enjuku as well. i think i payed 860 out the door? im not positive, but it was def a good price, i love enjukuracing.com. they are my favorite vendor! i was stoked when i saw the ruca's on their website in a camo green (my fav color), but when they arrived @ my house in a bling gold with flake that would make a lo-rider jealous, my first thought was "vomit". but i like the way there holding up, & the toe & traction arms are just down right sexy with the army anodize green finish. the only complaint i have is that they should paint the u-brackets that connect to the rear spindle because they could rust over time. i like painting, so i painted all the brackets black as well.

I know this is an old thread, but it raised a question for me that probably doesn't have a definitive answer, but I'll ask it anyway. "Beefier" items aren't necessarily going to mean higher quality, so my question is what are the lightest weight and highest quality suspension parts that people have had some experience with?

I appreciate opinion, but I've got my own. I'm still in the market for my 240sx, and so I'd like some experienced opinions before I make an informed decision.

Sorry to resurrect a dead horse.
