Ok, so i was perusing the car audio area at Best Buy, and noticed some headlights there...decided to take a look at them.

Redline brand...hmm...good name.

9003's, 9004's, 9007's....and....H4's :D

My car already had the H6054 headlight to H4 conversion, so i figured hell...i'll take out these 55/60 watt ones, and put in the Redline 90/100 watt ones and see the difference

omg what a difference it is. as my boss calls them...."Prick lights"

they're so bright it's sick, but they're great for these country roads near my parents' house in central Ohio.

Best part about them....$18 with tax for the pair...i figured i couldn't go wrong for at least trying them at that price, and i love 'em

day/night pics to come after i get off my lazy *** and replace the batteries in my digicam

i dont think there are any light out there that prevent u from setting up the sleepy eye look, but get those cheap H4 conversion things from ebay (look for one w/ out the bulbs because the bulbs usually suck, and its usually like $10 cheaper) and get urself a set of PIAA H4 9003 and u are set, though the light lense might crack on u if something hit it, a rock got to mine but it is still intact and everything though look kinda silly

i posted a reply to this last night about the xtra visions & cool blues, but apparently the hax0r 0wn3d it :(

I used the Xtra Visions in my old Prelude, and loved them. They were slightly brighter for city streets, but country roads was where they really shown through, as they shine wider on the road, and reveal more off to the side (read: deer).

The Cool Blues from what all of my customers tell me are just barely brighter, and are pretty much just a gimmick to give you that bling bling "i got HID not really" look.

I don't know much about headlights, but I was looking at putting in some blue tinted halogens in my '92 240, you know brighter than stock but not blind everyone who sees me, but i heard I had to get a balast and conversion kit or something like that otherwise the bulbs will melt the lenses? heard they were like $500can I just do the Bosch h4 conversion and put some blue bulbs in there or what?

what your discribing is the HID kits. they are very expensive, but will give you the light output of the new Maxima's and 350Z's. if you just want something brighter than stock, pick up some hyperwhite bulbs. they have a blue tint to them and usually run about $20 for the pair.

me personally, i used a set of Pilot foglights and mounted them where the stock 6054's used to be. a higher wattage bulb installed and voila! instant $70 sleepy-eyes. :D

So any h4 hyperwhite bulbs will do? (assuming the bosch h4 conversion kit is used), im lead to believe the ultrawhites are too bright or run too much wattage? also anyone know what are the dimensions on the stock s13 hatch's headlights?

IMO there is no "too bright" for headlights, especially if you live in the country like southern Ohio, and you drive at night. If i could find a way to put some of those "Million candle power" flashlights in there as headlights i would....the brighter the better if you're on the backroads, just keep them angled right so that you don't blind everyone else.
