best price for just an engine

i recently bought and s13 with an sr20 red top swap and the previous owner blew it and every place i call wants to sell a complete swap or wants only a couple hundred less for just a motor so if anyone has bought just a motor about how much did it run and were did you buy it

why buy a whole new motor, rebuild the one youve got, it will be cheaper, and it will be brand new.

I actually have a good redtop long block for sale if you are interested. It comes with everything except injectors, coil packs, alternator, a/c, no turbo. But you should already have all that. So basically its block, head, intake manifold, etc. If you are interested, email me at [email protected] for more details. I actually bought this when I bought my front clip as a spare. Well now I am moving very soon and I have no room for it. I will sell it pretty cheap.

well as far as a rebuild id do it but when he blew it it was the rod through block kinda thing
