If the bullied doesn't end up hurting/killing themselves, they may turn on their bullies with multiples times the payback as we see in this video. i heard a snap when the bully hit the ground and i'm thinking that his ankle is done for.
There was actually a link to another article on that site that said that the little twerp somehow didn't sustain any major injuries, so I guess that they wouldn't have much of a leg to stand on. Also, this happened in Australia and I'm assuming that they don't have as many stupid lawsuits as we do here.
All that being said, they were both pretty luck that the little twerp (Richard) didn't get seriously hurt. If I were the father of the big guy (Casey), I'd give him a pat on the back for standing up for himself and then a nice long talk about the appropriate use of force and/or maybe enroll him in Karate classes to help him learn some self control. It helped me when I was younger, I learned how to cause someone some discomfort (if need be) without actually hurting them. Additionally, enrolling him in something like that would maybe help him meet some new friends and give him a sense of belonging. When I was very young (like up until 3rd or maybe 4th grade) I had to deal with some very light bullying from a few kids. When I really started getting involved in things and making real friendships it didn't really bother me as much. Eventually, if I did get crap from anyone, I just remembered that I had plenty of friends, made fun of one of their insecurities, and went about my merry way.
