YO! How is the customizing coming? I'm just joining the board and I got an altima two weeks ago. I'm ready to get it going.

I think blue or purple is the best choice as it will be the best for your vehicle and it gives more light ..you install it and you will find it is worth for your ehicle

actually that's wrong. blue or purple means that it's 6000k or higher, which produces much less lumens than pure white (4300k or 5000k).

anytone have a pic of what the 8000k looks like on our car?? I just got everything in the mail and my buddy came over and tod me i was mislead. According to him the 8000k is going to be alot whiter than i thought. So i called ddmtunning and the sales rep told me the same. like i said i while back i am going for the deep blue almost purple look but not tooo tooo purple.

The higher the Kelvin rating of the light, the more blue the light is going to get, and then once you reach about 10,000K and above the light becomes purple.

8000K is going to be blue, not white. Here is the only picture that I have as an example.

Im going to order some DDM HID's and I was wondering if the 55w 8000k were overkill? I want something bright and I know that the 55w will definitely do that. The 35w just seems weak. Do any of you have the 35w 6000k and wish you had gone brighter?

I have the 35w DDM 5000k and I wish I would have gone 55w. They do look a little less bright then what I was hoping for, and I actually got flashed more often with my stock halogens. Come to think of it, I've never gotten flashed for my HIDs!

Maybe I will order the 55w and use the 35w for my Fogs.

i think 35W is plenty, i think going 55W might be too bright to the point of blinding oncomming cars, and you might get attention from police. i knew a guy who had 55w and he said that he got pulled over a lot for them, but that also depends on how strict the cops are in your area
