Likewise, I don't put my a/c on unless it's 90+ degrees. But like MrIder mentioned, you have to put it on when your'e on the highway, better fuel economy.

Before buying the car 2nerchic, have it checked out by a reputable mechanic (one who isn't involved in the deal). I did the same before buying my car, and it checked out great, but they pointed out things that needed to be replaced soon so i was able to talk stuff down. Be careful, lots of guys out there claim to know what they're doing, and take advantage of your elation.

ok, i just picked up the title and dropped of the cash with Rodney Sims of Top Hat! got a receipt and contract to have the car finished with the DE swap in no more than two weeks. putting in a 93 DE 5speed, brand new shocks and struts kyb's and eibachs, 2.5" catback, new stage 2 clutch installed, perfect interior, stripped hatch, newer paint, brand new brakes, skyline fuel pump because he used to have an RB20 in it with about 350hp, freshly flat black painted engine bay, and i got her the hook-up! i was originally going to get the car myself but after i thought about it for awhile i decided not to be selfish and give her the first offer on it cause it was just what she was lookin' for but she had almost given up and i couldn't let that happen. so he said he might even have it done in a week so i will make sure everything works out and that he doesn't pull one over on Brit. congratulations girl! hope you love it! i'm sure you will.......youre gettin' a damn $3000 car for about $2250! awesome deal........

What's so bad about 5 speed? We're the only country in the world too lazy to shift our own damn gears. The rest of the cars in the world haven't all burst in to flames due to the lack of a slush box.

Anyway, congrats on the new car.

They don't think I can drive one. My dad said, "there are too many hills".

But he'll see.

Wait til he finds out about no A/C. He'll just LOVE that!

Thanks :)

oh my god...I bought a 240sx. Have I been intoxicated the last 48 hours? And reality just hit me? Holy sh**... It just seems unreal.

2nrchic..congrats!!!! MY parents didn't want me to get a 240 so i just bought it and put it in my garage. The next day my mom came yelling, "who's red car is that?!" hahahahha. I'm in GA(vining) and sometime head up to Media Plays in Barrett Parkway to see my gf;it'd be cool if we hang out. I love meeting fellow 240 owners.

yeah, small town people are always nicer andmore down to earth than all the rich snobs that live in the suburbs. they know how to relax, while everyone i know is always in a hurry, and always on a cell phone.

It sucks. This guy with a ****ty S14 is still trying to get it sold for 4k. He's had like 8 ppl who have already test driven it, including me, and they all turned it down. My mechanic...blah blah blah I've posted on this before on your other thread, the depressing one. :)

I'm 19 and I work at a Waffle House with low hours and low pay. So far I have about 2k, and my mom just now refinanced her home, so now she has a couple thousand she can loan me. However, I think I would hafta use some of this money for college costs this coming August...sigh. Student Health Insurance, books, food, and that's about it...So **** I'm screwed cuz health insurance costs about 1k. Pell Grant already gave me 3k, so I have the rest of the costs (tuition, housing, bus transportation, etc.) covered with no hassle.

I just want a cheap reliable rwd. It would be nice to have an S14 though cuz I love its ***. I love it so much I would marry it...and hump it...every morning and mayb every night b4 I go to sleep.

Thanks.

Edit: Oh yeah forgot to add, my mechanic won't go out of state cuz he's getting pretty old (like almost 60...had several heart attacks already) and he's the only one I know personally, so I guess I have to limit my 240 search to the GA border.
