Long story short

So i was flipping through craigslist and came upon a odd looking ad.2000 Ferarri 360 GT racing seat by OMP - $100i thought no fuggen way, who the hell is that stupid? turns out this guy is. i called him up and asked some questions about the seat and asked again if it was only 100 bucks. he assured me that it was.

so today i drove from my work (huntington beach) to glendale (thats far) to a car leasing place where the seat was at. I paid him as quicky as possible and got the hell out of there in case he changed his mind.

so heres the pics. its a black leather wrapped full carbon fiber fixed bucket seat.

carbon closeup

the ID tag with the FIA approval

and finnaly, if you look closely you can see the ferarri horse logo in the head rest of the seat

so all in all im pretty damn stoked today. Now i just got to see if i can mount it in my Miata lol. if i cant ill just flip it for alot of profit

For that seat, it's totally worth having someone custom fab mounts if you can't find any aftermarket. Especially for the price you paid.

^Damn, personally I would sell the SOB and get a set of nice Sparcos and use extra cash for something else. Although having a Ferrari seat does qualify as pimp status lol

edit: any local Ferrari dealers? You could take it there to have them check it out.

So you're saying by having a waist size smaller than 34 a person is anorexic or bulimic? I have 32" waist and am 6'1" 165 lbs. I'd fit fine.

Screw exercise and a healthy lifestyle, it must be cause I hurl every night over the toilet.

NICE!

You could always try listing it on a Ferrari forum and see what they'll give you for it.

Who knows, you might be able to turn around and sell it for $1k++
