im not overly tall @ 6' but i sit upright when on track (as you should). if you are leaning back in your stock seat you might lose a TON more headroom putting a bucket in the car.
I do lean back slightly, because if not my head will be uncomfortably close to the ceiling, but when I say new seat I ment something that still reclines, just more aggresive, something like an srt-4 seat with the same locking seat belt design. I really like that set up. Im going for more of a daily functionability, with the occasional track day philosophy.
