I forgot to tell you guys that your gonna need to machine the fuel rail a little larger. Its gonna be simple to do and should not be expensive. Take into caount that 450s should be about all you t28 guys need. DSM 450s can be had for about 30 bucks and under and RX7 turbo 2 550s can be had for around 100. Hope this helps and is a great FYI. Think of it this way you can have enough fuel for under 100.00 bucks for a t28 or little more if you want to play it safe and have them cleaned. And BTW this also goes for the evo 510s and 540s. The Evo 8s have twin pintle 510s or 550s (cant think, Its kinda late) if you wanted to go that route. Cleaned T2 550s are the best bet for the money and they keep you away from the RC/Lucas crap for a lot less.

I mentioned in a post a while ago, that I couldn't get dsm/rx7 injectors to 'easily' fit my ca rail (just as I read on uk site)... didn't seem like anyone else had a prob

sooo that doesn't really answer my question. can i get the dsm injectors to fit w/ out modification or not? and while i'm at it i've got one more question. would the 450's be a good size to use with a ball bearing t28?

RX7s fit fine, I just checked. The DSMs on the other hand dont seem to want to go in without a fight. As for the maching I was talking about the fuel rail outlet where the injector slides in, Its a tad 2 small. I *think* you *might* be able to smooth the plastic down on the top of the injector or you can just have the outlet made a little larger. But I dug through my pile of injectors and the RX7 550 slid right in, Thats what I get asuming it wouldent work just becouse DSMs are a tight fit. Liek they say about asuming making an as-s out of me and you.

I installed my extra RX-7 550s on a customer's SDS equipped, CA18 powered 240 and they fit in with no dramas. Tuning them was pretty simple as well. The best bang for the buck is the RX-7 injectors hands down.

ok, so 550s from FCTII fits, that's confirm. but! how about the harness??? do we need the harness to?? i have a set of Injector around here from my FC. but want to confirm about the harness, my Ca will be here in 2 weeks, and T28 will be the 1st turbo upgrade for me. I already have Apexi AFC to control the injectors ( yank it out from my FC hahahah)

when you say "almost" brand new.. what do you mean? are there scratches or anything on it? I'd like to buy it ASAP as long as its in decent conidition and nothing is missing :D

I dont see why you would need the plugs, I just checked and the DSms and the RX7s plug right in fine. So I guess to sum it up the RX&s are plug and play.

What about the MK3 Supra? Since they bolt in, do they plug in as well?

How I know this is because I recently sold some to a friend with CA18 and SDS and had to install them and tune them as well. It's up to the individual the purchases these RX7 injectors to be a aware that their are more than one type of injector from these cars.

some rx7 turboII 550 injectors are tan and have square plug. Late 87? was a change in the impedance for the 550s. hi or loDoesn't the supra mk3 440s have a rounded connector ?

Mine are purple and square top. Those are hte only ones I have seen, So to clear that up the square peg dosent go into the round whole. I have only seen the Turbo 2 type like I have said.

the 450cc DSM injectors that "fit", are they the blue top first gen DSM ones? some quick googling has determined that first gen DSM blue tops ARE 450cc low impedence, just want to verify they're the bandwagon-y 450cc ones :D

The two purple tops you have are just straight Densos sold by Greddy. The TurboII 550s are tan top, so there still may be the fittment problem.

DSM blue top 450s are low impendence.

are the ca18det injectors low impedance as well? if not then what would happen if i put the wrong impedance in? i'm not to clear on the whole fuel injector thing.

yeah, i think theyre actually about 2.8 but who's counting? we had a long and grueling discussion about it and they are low impedance.
