Yes I've searched.Found two threads, one with pics that no longer work and one with 3 pics and black bedliner.

Anyone else do this recently and wish to show off pictures of it?Anyone do it and hate it and regret it?

I stripped my carpet out as it was in horrible shape when I got it from the previous owner. The clutch MC went out and leaked clutch fluid on the carpet which caused it to shed like a old dog, there were stains every where etc.

I stripped all the tar out and have sprayed down self-etching primer over the parts I will paint on the bedliner. I have 1 gallon of light gray Durabak (durabak/herculiner are same thing) that I'm going to use to paint it this weekend. I'll post pics to this thread when I'm done. I'm hoping this stuff will be rough enough where I can buy some cheap floor mats and put them down.

Any tips besides not to get it on your wang ?(search google for story)

is this for your dd? seems like the carpet would help muffle road noise, rattles etc... why do you want bed liner instead of carpet?

This isn't my only car. This is also my track car.

Carpet is expensive (+$150) and I've thrown the old stuff away, besides being nasty it was brown and I've converted to a black interior.

I'm pretty sure bedliner will muffle nosies and rattles more then carpet, some people even claim it make the chassis stiffer (although I don't know about that.)

If i was gonna do it to a track car yeah it'd be cool but no way i would do it for my DD... well unless it was a Samurai.

naah, the stuff from the can is pretty light. but even the pro stuff doesn't weigh all that much.

You may have already found the thread i put my pics in but here they are again.

I put herculiner in the front areas for some grip for my feet, and just used duplicolor bedliner in the back because it doesn't matter.

It's nowhere near as loud as a fully stripped car, but not quite as quiet as carpet. On the plus side i don't have to worry about carrying dirty stuff in the car. Pull the passenger seat out and just put it on the floor.

your link should go between the but anyway that seems like it would be ridiculously easy to keep clean as well and it has that industrial look about it as well which makes it manly haha

i hurculinered my hatch area. it got quieter than just being stripped and it never scraps, i had an engine block in the back forgot and did some spirited driving with no marks to show. but like someone mentioned, dont get it on your hands...it will come off but it takes your skin with it. i will be doing my entire floor board when i get the new cage put in. oh it isnt heavy at all. the can weighs like 5 lbs and could prolly do the whole car 2-3 times.

Old thread but I wanted to add some better pictures to the selection. Hopefully it will give the next guy an idea of how phresh it's gonna look. :ban: Be ready for a lot of prep work! If it's not done correctly it will be a waste of time and money!

I bought the harbor freight bedliner, seems to hold up well but honestly I baby it after the months it took to prep and finish. It's roll on and I used 3" rollers and 1" brush for those hard to reach spots. Definitely a little quieter inside I have full interior except for my stripped trunk. I know several months ago I had trouble finding pictures and information regarding this. It's kinda universal but I know some guys (including myself) want to see it on their application. I'd say it's definitely worth it but again... Be ready for a lot of down time, ringing ears(from grinder) and the times when you wanna say f*** it! Good luck
