I understand. It just hit a nerve....plus the kitchen faucet was leaking and I had to replace it last night....and the first one I got didn't fit well, so the wife was at the Lowe's getting another..... And, it was probably leaking cause I banged one of the tubes putting in the new disposal this week cause it had crapped out.. I've known some that had to walk away due to the demands of the job.I was considering joining the police reserves years ago until my wife stepped in and vetoed the idea. My neighbor was a county officer and we would go shooting together and I had ridden with him before. He actually had had enough of the job and moved his family back to a small town in VA. My TKD master retired early due to an event that happened on the job. He's now a full time TKD instrutor & owner of his dojang.RED_DET wrote:I have learned over the past 12yrs, that if you can't joke about this job, then you need to step away and become a civilian.
