Bex and I whipped these up on the grille...

Aside from a ton of other food, Bex made homemade baklava (from scratch, VERY hard to make)... also made homemade peach ice cream (with her new ice cream maker) served over grilled peach halves (WOW).

I'm so stuffed. Damn. :chuckle:

That was our first try... just chicken and beef.

Definitely will do some more of them - they were a huge hit. :)

Also, quote of the night goes to Greg's mom.

That ice cream sounds amazing right now. I went full fatty tonight and made myself 2 Reuben sammiches with home made corned beef. Now I want something sweet.

That looks really tasty, and the ice cream is making my mouth water right now.

We did some kielbasa in a cast iron skillet, with some grilled onions and special kind of Polish cheese melted on top. Then topped it off with a side of potato pancakes (from scratch). I'll be having the leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Yep. Cut fresh peaches in half, dip the cut side in brown sugar and nutmeg, grill cut side down for about 5 minutes depending on the firmness of the peaches. You don't want them mushy. Serve with homemade ice cream (I made peach) sprinkled with crushed shortbread cookies. :yesnod

And you'd be right.

My apologies to the family that was enjoying a nice day at Chaparral park until I yakked up Baklava and kabobs 20 yards away from their picnic. :chuckle:

I'm going to show up at your doorstep one day with an empty plate and an appetite, and you're going to deal with it by giving me your hot beef.

Homemade ice cream sounds SO FREAKING GOOD :yesnod

I called my friend today. He said he was in a field... then said "Hang on". I hear the phone go down, then hear "BOOOOOMMMMMMM" he comes back on and asks if I want to cook some deer tonight. Anyone got any good recipes? I'm thinking just do a quicky marinade and then throw them bishes on the grill.
