I remember the guy from Chicago I think his name was s14sr20det, with the white s14.....g35 and such. He started out pretty cool, and I used to chat with him outside NICO. He got very wierd. Begging me to come down to ILL and let him drive my s14. He got mad when I said no. Then he just said ****ty things, like laughing when his co-workers got laid off and such. He really liked to flaunt his money........I mean his DADDYS money around.
He then got very angy on a thread one time , then got banned. Who ever said people who smoke pot are mellow, he smoked eveyday ( so he said) and was a real POS.
As for DAUNT........ I was in contact with him up too 2 mos ago. He was going back to school in Iowa, and was thinking of selling motors again. I told him that was a very bad idea. To leave it alone........I would not get back in an Industry where it was well known that you were getting death threats for your lack of giving people their product or money back.
I asked him to give me some help with my re-install with my sr.....at first he said yea, then when the time came to come up he balked......oh well.

In all honesty, I think of you guys as an odd sort of friend. We share stories, have things in common, and help each other out. I dont know how to characterize NICO b/c its more than an acquaintance, but I havent taken NICO to a beer yet.
I wonder alot about K b/c when he left, it was like friend had just died. I was off the boards for about 2 weeks, came back and he was gone. I was so lost. No one would talk about what would happen. Now I know and can understand why, but still wish he would come back. He was very helpful 2 me, even when I was a newb.
i think you guys are a valuable resource. Most of you are way smarter than most of my friends, ALOT funnier, and teach me more than the 5hitty school I pay for.

Yeah, I don't know why everyone was all "hush hush" about Kcar. I never understood that. We never banned him....he simply just got pissed one day and deleted all his own posts. Which is why, btw, we have it set so that you can't delete your own posts, especially if you are a thread starter. Kcar kinda hurt us badly when he deleted all his threads that *he* started.
Like I said before, I'm still on good terms with him, as I believe all the moderators would be (if they spoke to him at all). So feel free to talk about Kcar

Actually, in middle school I saw a shirt on thinkgeek.com that said "WTF?" and that was all... I was going to get it, then my mom asked what my bro and I were laughing so hard about...
Then I got my "I took the red pill" shirt booted from said middle school for being a "drug message." I wore it inside out for a day and then was never able to wear it for the rest of my 8th grade year...

.As far as missing out, I came here around the time the ring died, I dunno if it was still around when I first got here or not, but I know I didn't ever visit.
I saw some of K_car's stuff and always thought of him as really knowledgeable, but kind of a "tough love" guy, that is that if you asked stupid questions he would tell you you had (if I remember correctly).
