Dood hook each one up to a different TV and you can play forza 2 on multiple monitors, now that would be baller. In fact you can even set up one monitor to be just the rearview mirror, I think you need to be a rap star to use that option though.

I have no use for the elite tho. I won't max out the hard drive I have now and I play it on a 27" normal TV. So it's not worth the extra 100 to get one to me. Plus, I like the white box better

6 ps3's each hooked up to a 52 inch 1080p tv would be baller status. This is like rent to own 18's.

Why would you ever want one PS3, let alone 6? So you can play Afrika with all your friends?

Op was about baller status...6 ps3 with 52" tvs would be baller status...

Ps3 rocks. Graphics are great. Still w8ing on some must have games. Ps3 launch was the exact same compaired to the 360...Launch games sucked. Only good one for the 360 was COD2 only great one for the ps3 was Resistance. Just give it time jeez.

I actually bought the Elite on Friday. I've been pretty bored at my parent's shop so i want to take a 360 there. trouble is, I can't take my laptop andthe 360 back and forth each day. I probably could have just got another Premium, but I have an HDMI equipeed TV and the larger HDD is nice, especially if MS is going to go through with the IPTV plan. I got a free controller and Fuzion Frenzy (though I probably have little use for the game) for free with it as well from Circuit City when I bought the Elite. The third 360 is the one I bought my GF. Though my GF technically bought the Elite for me.

Appreciate the offer, but considering the size of the room this current set-up is in, I see no reason to spend any more money on the sound system. I may consider an HD-DVD player in the near future, but a receiver and speakers is not something I need to upgrade anytime soon. Any money I have from here on out is going mostly to bills, school, and saving up to try and get the GF a motorcycle.

alright, how about this. Don't get the hd-dvd player.

Trust me man. You'll be cutting yourself short. The picture will be nice, but the sound is ~60% of the experience.

While I trust your opinion on the matter, I'd prefer to see things in HD more often. I'm quite content with the sound as is, but would like to make much better use of my HDTV. It could probably be better, but ignorance is bliss. At this point, I'd like a HD-DVD player simply so I can start to build a collection. While I don't plan to upgrade much of my existing library, I don't want to waste money adding more DVD's where I could be adding HD movies. Not to mention, the Toshiba HD-DVD players have been receiving great reviews about their upconverting abilities.
