I set a damp towel in my oven to keep it from melting, when i finished my second light i forgot to take it out and it caught on fire after about an hour haha. But yeah my lights are done and i am very happy, getting them back together and fit perfectly is difficult but it wasnt too hard to do just make sure you read as much as you can before you attempt this.

Took me about a day per light, the second one went alot faster. Used black silicone and a grill spray that has a high heat resistance. Baked them for 6 minutes on 350, of course i had to bake them several times before i got them completely open.

You have to remember..That every oven is not the same...meaning that depending on your elevation, climate, etc will determine the temperature that will work. 350 may work for someone but may not work for someone else. May sound like :bs: but it's not.

Take Th1s Life - The headlights looks good but the real test will come when moisture and humidity sets in. Only then will you find out if the lights are properly sealed. Before I send out a set of lights, I actually test them for moisture and such. I don't leave it up to chance :yesnod

Why go with someone who's only done it once when you can go with someone who's done it more and then some....someone like me .. :naughty:

PM me and let's talk! :chuckle:

I've been contemplating on getting a set but looking at the light there's really not a lot of options that you can do aside form LEDs and projectors for highbeams...

You can use a heat gun set to low but it takes longer. if you have an extra LED try baking it and see what happens

Yeah..heat gun isn't going to cut. Trust me! You'll melt sections of the lights if you're not careful. People have tried that, and people have failed miserably!
