well don't know about the rest of his rb25 and car but I bought the PT67 turbo, HKS manifold and wasetgate, and downpipe.he said they didn't know what happend to the turbo but instead of them fixing it, they gave him the option of replacing it, so he just paid a little $$ for a new one.

cool. I see he left out that his bottem end included forged pistions. (CP's) So that 5XX whp isn't on the stock bottem end.

Pt gave me the option to replace the turbo with a brand new. I took that option and rec'd a brand new PT67 which i sold as a "Kit" with the HKS Exhaust Manifold, downpipe, and the other accessories.

I am going with a custom Exhaust Manifold with a 3 1/2" Downpipe. This time around i went with a similar turbo to the PT67. I ordered a GT40/67 with a HP front with a ported Shroud, same .81 back. Also going with the 44 Tial WG that i had left over from a previous set up. This time i made a little deal with PTE. Hehehe

Sounds like a bad turbo....29 psi is alot of boost, but as long as your EGT's were within 1550 degrees, you're good. With that type of turbo, I seriously doubt you overspooled it.
