wait a minute, you're telling me that you had a swap done by them, and thats great Im glad for you, but don't tell me I'm owned. And you are not the only person to have a swap done by unstable. Please take a deep breath, realise you are not the "one and only" you think you are, and relax. calm down, you are really begining to agitate me with your lack of tact. I would like to know why you drove to atlanta to have a swap done if you live in NYC(like your location tag says)...

anyways, B240SX: I will talk with russ G, chris, and see if I can talk to denis/unstable about this situation as soon as I can. ONce I get ahold of them I'll let you know. I'll also contact stonebreaker if possible.

I dont really appreciate being called an idiot, after insulting someone I know, and especially trashing other members, just because you think you know it all. Please calm down before this turns into a flame war. -chet

What? Dennis is PART TIME. Jason owns the shop. He created it with Joel. You are OWned. I swear people like yourself who stick up for a shop that you know ABSOULTELY NOTHING ABOUT pisses me off. Why did i go to ATL for the Swap ? Because nobody does the swap up here.DUH.If your so buddy buddy with Dennis why don't you give him a call and ask him about the s14 rb25det that has low compression in #1 and #5. Ask where the owner lives too.

Settle down all of you. This has gone from being an acceptable question of shop pol;itics to a flame war really fast.It needs to stop and get back on topic NOW.

I'm not gonna ask nicely like this again, I'll simply have you limited or possibly banned if you cannot behave civilly. There is no need for name calling, owning, or any of this other crap. Simply state your experience with the shop, and go on your way.I'm sure Jason or Joel will be more than happy to hear from anyone who would like to call the shop on the subject, so there is no need to bash their shop here.

Seriously people, sometimes you guys take things too far (mods included).

Also, I just left Jason a phone message on the subject, so he is fully aware.

Do me a favor, SxMachine, and email me directly, [email protected] and we'll get this taken care of. The fact of the matter is, we have a couple of engines that are apparently lost in ground shipping. The ground shipper confirms pickup, but can't give us info on delivery date or location or anything. That, in addition to the fact that we had a lot of engines held up by the shipping strike long ago...makes it seem like we don't care or we are simply out to screw some people. I guarantee you, this is not the case. As a compounding factor, we really don't make enough money to have the cash flow to replace missing engines easily.

93semax...your name is Leon, right? Last name Apana, IIRC. The burgundy S14 that got broken into outside of the shop...we replaced the window and door for it? Would you like directions to Jason's house, or just an address? Yes, I am part time at unStable...never claimed to be anything else, but that hardly means I don't know what is going on. I know about your RB25...Jason and Tony called me when they had been working non-stop on it to get it ready for you to drive home...they wanted some troubleshooting help. They told me the symptoms, and I suggested a compression test (which they had thought of, but were hoping to avoid). Does that agree with what you know?

I apologize to everyone else; I probably won't be able to come back here and answer any questions...I simply don't have the time anymore to spend on message boards, with all of the time commitments I have made (School (GaTech ChE Senior), UGrad Research, UH, etc.) Hopefully, Leon and SxMachine can come back later and tell you that everything has been rectified.

Thanks,

Dennis KalmanunStable Hybrids
