I still have the tags and paper work to send them back in
Is this your first car with coilovers? Some cars aren't so bad, but for the S chassis its a pretty simple equation. People only seem to want to do one thing with them, get low. These cars are not graced with a great deal of suspension travel from the factory, due eto the low hood line. Every coil on the market only makes this worse by shortening the damper body to allow for more lowering. Most manufacturers then greatly increase spring rates to keep from bottoming. You get flat handling, but poor ride, poor traction, and poor stability over rough roads. Compounding this is the fact that most of the coils on the market are woefully under damped for the spring load. They also lack helper springs to give any sort of droop travel which worsens ride further, and decreases traction.
$1250 is on the very low side for a set of coils. A set of 50mm DMS coils can run you upwards of $6000.
