Sounds like a vac/boost leak. Always start with the codes first though.

Vids is similar, you just use youtube and use the "youtube" tags on the link. If you use the full editor, it makes things easier.

See if the plug came off again. If it did, you're missing the little metal clip that holds the plug on the sensor. If it didn't, then you have a bad sensor or wiring between the ECU and the sensor.

Ok thanks on the posting pics

It still plugged in so I think I got a bad sensor it runs good cold and gets worse the hotter it gets

More info

fixed some leaks
put new coolant temp sensor
adjusted tps and cas

idles great neutral rev great

driving under full throttle 3-4k stutters and misfires then clears up to 5k and misses and dont rev no more

drive 1/4 throttle no misses

i forgot to metion im using a f150 frame mount fuel pump for a v8 would that not flow enough for full throttlw but i havent had a problem with it up till now?

Do you have a wideband? Can you see what the AFR's are like when it breaks up? It sounds like an ignition problem to me, but it could be leaning out as well.

I don't have a wide band I need to get one

But after It did that I put a diffrent fpr on .. No difference and 1-4 plugs looked rich but 2-3 was white as all get out

I was reading up on boost cut or fuel cut

But I'm only running 6 psi according to my boost gauge

Sounds like plugs 2&3 aren't firing or those injectors are bad. Clean all grounds. If problem persists, replace the plugs and move the coils to different cylinders. Ruin the engine for a bit then check the plugs again. If the white plugs follows the coils, replace coils, if they stay on 2&3 then it's the injectors or the ignition amplifier. Due to the behavior you're describing, I would suspect the ignition amplifier

Another update

Changed maf no change
Ran another ground no change

Took ecu apart and has a Horsham stage 3 chip

With the 2-3 plugs being white wouldn't that mean that the 2-3 injectors are spraying making a lean mixture

If 2-3 lost spark wouldn't the plugs be black /suty and wet??

A failed spark causes no combustion, which doesn't cause sooting. That leaves the plugs unchanged. They wouldn't be wet because the issue only occurs in boost

That Horsham chip is for a Z32 MAFS and 440cc injectors, plus intake, 3" turbo back, FMIC, and a T28 @ 17psi. Is that your setup?

Thanks for the help I've got a drift event Sunday I gotta make it to so I'm in a frantic rush

I've got
Z32
440s
Fmic
Blow through
Custom 2in down pipe with 3 inch down back exhaust due to limited space in the ae
T28bb

The only thing I see is that I'm not running 17psi
And they say 97 oct in running 89

Could the fuel be a problem and the 17 psi
But I been running everything the same for about a year until I put this exhaust on then the problem occurred unsure if that's my problem or just a fluke

Ignore the 97 octane. They use the RON octane rating there while we use the AKI, which yields a lower number. It's not a direct comparison, but 97 octane is ABOUT 93 octane here. 89 octane is too low and you're risking engine damage. 91 octane is probably fine if you're running lower boost levels. Running less boost than the chip is tuned for doesn't cause any issues, you just make less power.

Ok thanks

I ordered up a inline walbro 255 pump

Doing some looking and my pump in running only does 100-120lph so I think that's my under fueling problem

Put new pump in Saturday with no improvements

Took shot in dark and got a Ka alternator and made a bracket and that fixed my stutter

I'm guessing the alternator wasn't putting out enough anymore so I drifted all day Sunday and no problems

Thanks for the help

Thanks yeah I took the old one to advance and the machine said low output like 12.8 so with my fans and fuel pump running I bet that had it all messed up but

Now we know to double check voltage lol

good of you to post the fix

so you have a 2" section in your downpipe ?

what fuel and how much boost you running ? ....and how does the car perform ?

Yeah I have a
2inch down due to limited space currently
Then to a 3 in all the way back

Currwntly running 93 on 7 psi

Runs great alittle rich all the way through the rev range but I think that bc I'm running low boost

All chip tunes are going to be rich. They still are less rich than stock and make more power than stock.
