Ok. it's been forever. Long story short, my best friend died while we were working on the car(KN13). I've recently decided to finish this crap up with the help of a couple shops in this area I've recently became friends with.
CA18DET is getting a gasket/timing belt/water pump refresh atm, and the two chassis are coming up in 2 weeks to start doing the hardware swaps. The engine bay in the sportbak has been sprayed, and all holes patched up, so that's good. It's been a long hard road out of hell.
I have pictures of the engine bein' transported this past weekend. Will take pics of the engine bay next weekend and what not.
Is anyone still alive in here? :BnB:

Working on the pics thing Float!! DEE! what up dude!? How you been? Good to see you're still alive! I spent most of yesterday running around and dropping things off at various shops. It's good to be back. The family has grown a bit. I am now the owner of a 2005 Toyota Celica GT Tsunami Edition (Date Car) 55k on her, and a 1994 Talon TSI (87k on her) (DD), as well as the Pulsar :-D. What up Neon? Blue Vixon had surgery so she's trying to recover from that (nissanexa.com) (but her sportbak still exists).
Long story short on the sportbak, my best friend committed suicide in the garage we used to work in, so...it sorta ruined my taste for cars for a while...but I'm trying to get back in the game now. 5 years, it's been long enough.

^as you can see, hole in front of that motor mount has been patched, and the bay has been re-sprayed.

Hey Dee...that engine/wireharness combo I got from you...that's from a Silvia correct? PenguinNX(nissanexa.com) and I were working on the wiring...and the colors don't match what the 200sx fsm says they're supposed to be...and the pinouts are all wrong...
Should I set to work on trying to find an s13 ca18det silvia FSM?

That harness is from the Bluebird AWD CA18DET. I fyou guys can't wire it, send it back and I'll provide you a RWD piece. I wired and bench tested that thing and ensured that every component functioned. I have no problem swapping you a RWD harness for the AWD harness, so let me know. And again, good to have you back  .

Dee. You rock so hard. I ever tell you that?
:bowrofl:

I am going to try and find a FSM for the bluebird, if i can't track anything down, I may just have to send this back to you. Which makes me sad cuz it's in such fantastic shape. But oh wellz. lol I will be in touch. Can you PM me your address for shipping?
Thanks,
Rat

Hey Dee. I have been desperately trying to locate one of these FSM's...seems no one really has one or even a pinout. Looks like I'm gonna have to send this back for the RWD one. Can you PM me your address so i can send this on it's way?
Side note: will that ECU work with the s13 harness? or do i have to send that back as well? I believe that it works, we just can't figure out how to hook it into the kn13 main harness.
Thanks,
Rat

Yeah, we might be few and far, but we do exist. And some of us have potentially nasty little rockets if we are willing to put in the work and money. Pretty soon, we should have a CA18 FWDers show-off with pics and stories and like, whatevers.
