Well I'd say stick with the OEM manifold if you can. The divided manifold and short length makes for a much more responsive and fun to drive setup.

Update: Order from down under is coming in soon. Ran into some friction with my other cars. (Clutch went on the celica, and had to fix somethings on the DSM, and am still getting the house in order). Turns out I was un aware that the stock s13 efi harness didn't have the knock sensor in it...)
Question...would it be worth just buying the S13 harness from Wiring Specialties and modifying it for use in my KN13?
I tried talking to them once before about making one up for me, but they basically tossed it off. I mean, not that mine is in bad shape, it's in great shape...but I'm nervous about forgetting something, or screwing it up...

S13's don't have the knock sensor wiring in the engine harness. In the JDM versions of the CA18DET in the S13's (where most of our motors came from) the knock sensor wiring went into the body wiring behind the battery, and then came back out and connected to the lower harness, and the lower harness connected to the knock sensor.

The EDM CA18's weren't like this and the knock sensor wiring was in the engine harness. Unfortunately, I think the wiring for the ignitor was in the chassis instead. Why Nissan ran vital engine wiring through the chassis harness on ANY vehicle, I'll never understand.

The CA18DE in the KN13 EFI harness wasn't made wit that kind of stupidness...it just had it's own goofy weird s*** going on with it. *Sigh* such a pain. it's always something isn't it?
