I like scaringing the younger guys myself. They flip out when some freaky Dave Mustaine-looking white guy pulls up next to them cranking DMX. When twentysomethings ask I recount ye ole days when THERE WAS NO RAP!:eek: and ask them if they have any Public Enemy ON TAPE!

Dude, you're not oldschool unless you were down with The Fat Boys , KRS-one, and GrandMaster Flash (and Mellie Mel).

Cool J was better back in the day ('83?) when he put out "Radio". Good album.

damn it Krs one came on late in hiphop... grandmaster flash before that music video !! i hated that video. i miss the old beats and sound effects from that early early reall hiphop! anyone seen Wild style with Lee ladypink fab5freddy and crazy legs and the rest of the rock steady crew.. all that dancing you think justin timberlake and tha other pop stars think is good is nothing compare to those guys their breaks and the popin is just so amazing !

I'm 29 and have several PE tapes. I also have a lot of Ice-T tapes and can flow with every word. Well, sort of...hehe...

I'm long ago out of the Marine Corps. I might cut the mop, it's hot as hel here and it's always in my face. I remember Sugar Hill. I wasn't listeneing to them until later, I would have been 8 at the time. Ice T was great, remember him in "breakin" pre O.G. I saw him in concert with Body Count, the man can rock.:ylsuper
