AZHITMAN help me find this f***er

i had a kickback at my apartment a few days ago with a few of my friends and this guy and 2 of his friends neither me or my roommates know comes over our back porch and into our room (he was drunk). we didn't touch him and we told him and his friends to leave and when he did he grabbed one of he fire extinguishers in the hallway of our apartment complex and sprayed it all over the walls and some of the cars of the employees. so the fire department and police had to come clean it up and now the apartment is trying to fine us because he was in our unit even though he was uninvited!! the only way we can avoid a $1000 FINE is if we catch this guy.

so far all i know is is name is possibly JORY (pronounced JOR-EE)and he goes to the UNIVERSITY of MINNESOTA. here's a picture of him security gave us off of the security cameras:he is the guy with the red on top of his hat.

i hope this is enough info. i plan on printing the pics and passing them out around my apt. complex to see if anyone knows him.i already talked to my guests who also go to the U to see if any of them know him but so far nothing. i'll be going to the U on tuesday to talk to the registrar or admissions or dean of students or whoever i need to about finding him. any help would be appreciated. i only have until next week before the security guard files his report stating he was our guest so i gotta work fast.ANYONE WHO CAN HELP PLEASE DO!you can email me @: [email protected]

because people pulled the fire alarm thinking there was a fire because of the smoke, so the fire dept is required to come.

Under what law/rules are you potentially being charged for this? I would be sure to read whatever law/rules exist - and then potentially refuse to pay/challenge the assessment based on what you come up with. It's really unclear to me under what theory you would actually have a duty to prevent this. If their assertion is that this person had been in your unit - and I'm not sure that gets them there - perhaps filing a criminal trespass complaint after the fact would relieve you of any potential liability.

Werd, whatever allows them to charging this to you sounds fishy. Probably a typical "college lease" that allows them to basically fine you for anything.

You should consider filing police reports for trespassing against these guys, then you will have a claim that they were uninvited guests who you demanded leave your apartment as opposed to buddies of yours who the apts probably thing you are trying to use to weasel your way out of the fines.
