good luck. i did one in about 6 hours once but it was a skyline so might be a bit different.

my biggest concern was the reverse lights and neutral/park cut switch. when i went under the car to do the wiring (should have been easy but car wanted to be a *****) the selector switch wasn't working on the dash so i couldn't "hard wire" the switch to park.

i did find out though that there are two wires that go to the transmission that can start the car. with the IG on, two wires (want to say one was pink) when connected together will turn the starter. i did the easy thing and ran the wires to a switch on the dash and voila, push button starter.

the biggest problem i had was the transmission was a non-turbo transmission on to a rb20 (think they may be different) so the transmission mount was off by about an inch. the drive shaft was out a little but not enough to leak or slip.

enough of that, it will work but will be much easier if you have a lift to do it on!!

the wires that will allow you to have the features like reverse light and neutral safety switch are on the bottom siide of the fuse box next to the battery. if you want to wire in the neutral safety switch you will have to run the wires. if not just make a jumper. i belive that in my car it was the bottom plug that i had to bypass.

ok.. i have started on the swap now, i have everything installed except for the transmission, driveshaft, and shifter. so far it took me 1 1/2 days, but i wasnt in a rush, and took a lot of breaks ;) austins240: thanks for the info, but i think the 240 is a little different than that. there are posts on nico about hooking up a few wires to get it to start normally, but they never go into detail, so thats the only mystery i have yet to solve
