first car i ever owned was an 89 honda civic, i came home from vacation and saw it in the driveway, and noticed my account was also empty. My parents bought me a car wtih my money...well..they paid for half so i didnt' complain. Loved that car for about 4 months, hated it for the next 32. New motor, trans, axles, tires, paint(some heartless bastard keyed it at the mall), exaust, complete brake system swap(the old when went tits on me). All and all that POS cost me 5000 in repairs...should have just installed a damn Vtech in the thing. Ah well.

My next car was a 94 J30...love at first sight. My gilfriend fights it for attention :)

1995 Infiniti G20t Automatic My first car. Bought it with 119K on it for $4000. In immaculate condition. The previous owner had kept it in great condition. I love it...installed some Sylvania Silverstar headlights and am planning to do more with it.

I haven't had that many cars, had a few in between cars I'll include:

Toyota Celica GT Liftback - First car, bought essentiallly brand new, drove her until 1984 with little or no problems. Poor man's Z

1966 MB 230 SL 4 Speed - had this for 4 months trying to sell it for a friend of my dad's. First geat was so fast I could blow away the 911's of the early 70's easily...but no sychros in 2nd so you'd lose right htere

1976 MGB - Dad bought this for a girlfriend he dumpted before the car was delivered. Rest the Celica while driving this for 6 months, towed it too many times, slowest car I ever drove but fun

1984 300ZX - Maroon, brand new, only BRAND NEW car i've had. Still have her in the garage, suspension is tricked out now and interior is perfect with 3k worth of stereo gear. Wish I could have done the turbo, but insurance for a 23 year old in 1984 was $3,500

1985 Maxima - Still have it, the "dog mobile" which I bought with 125k and now has 275k. Retired the Z as a daily driver due to LA Earthquate which broke I10 and made it so I "couldn't get my car outta Second GEAR"

1990 Galant - wife's car, most reliable car I've ever seen. in 13 years and 135k miles maybe 1k in repairs

1997 Q45t - Still have it, just got over 70k and put 17x8 rims and 245/45 17's on it, now it is the car I really want, handles 20% better.

Chaz98Q45t, I felt the same way, trading my 1992 5-speed in for the 1995 automatic.

i defenetly think Z cars are nicer...but those old Celicas can take a nasty beating and keep on going. I had a friend own an 84 Celica with more rope holding that car together than any welding or screws, drove it throughout highschool and rolled passed the 215k mile mark. And trust me, those were the hardest miles i've ever seen put on a car. Let's just say i've never seen anyone go offroading with a front powered sports car.

That is too funny, I bought a 77' GT Liftback (really wanted that Z but it was another 1800 bucks). The car was great, never stranded me, ever.

Drove until 84 when I bought my Z brand new, and the Z is still in the garage today and running like new (with much TLC).
