Before I place my order, could you pull up a diagram for the bumper/bumper reinforcement. I need the four bolts that attach the bumper to bumper reinforcement. Thanks so much!

I think I need heavy duty trunk supports for my 89 240sx coupe.

I have the trunk & spoiler off a 92/93 coupe or convertible and the trunk is insanely heavy compared to my 89 one.

The problem I run into is that it won't stay consistently open and won't pop up all the time when I use the interior trunk release.

Can you help me out Dan?

I currently have these pieces (except my trunk lid and spoiler are off another year):http://www.trademotion.com/par...gid=2

and I need something that will support my heavier trunk.

Thanks!email is: hyphendesigns AT yahoo.com

**edit**I also need/want a thermostat thingy which switches on the secondary fan. I'll be wiring that to another electrical fan for a dual fan set up.

Thanks

I did some checking on those struts I told amoloa about. They arent available in singles anymore. They have a substitute set though that are $75.11 for the pair. Those are found here:http://www.trademotion.com/par...gid=2If the trunk is off another year, you may have some jerry-rigging to do.

Im not sure what to get you as far as the dual thermostat/fan setup. That vehicle never had one and I dont know which vehicle that did have one which would work for you. If you can find out which car will work, I can find the price for you.

Thanks for the quick response.

I think I'll just hook it up somehow so that the 2nd fan turns on with the a/c, which is the only time I need the 2nd fan anyway.

As for the strut, would this be for the hatchback version or coupe version?

I figured I had to do some "creative" construction with the trunk, I was just hoping if you knew if the 92/93 coupe trunks w/ spoilers are significantly heavier than the 89 coupe trunks. The spoiler doesn't weigh much, it's the trunk that's the problem.

Is the 92/93 trunk support for coupe stronger? I'm just seeing if there is an easier way than to build a custom mount for this trunk.

Thanks!

The camera was dead so it will be later tonight or tomorrow. The cover fit like a glove. I mean perfect. Has the little mirror booties and all. I was a little scared of the price, but if you are looking for a great fit and great quality material get it. It is worth the money.

I think the struts that are replacing the older style are a standard "heavy duty" strut. The struts are listed for a fastback but that listing changes to a newer generic type so it can fit on both models. I think these would be your best bet in getting the support you need in the hatch.

Great. I never expected it to be blue, though. I usually see them come in gray or white. Does it have the Nissan logo?

Yeah it has the Nissan logo in black and the cover is bright *** blue. I don't care. Grey would have been better (read low key), but it fits great and that makes up for it.plus I might dye it, you never know.

Is there any way I can see a picture or diagram of what the strut looks like? There is no illustration on the web page for this one.

Mine looks like this right now:

I've seen the hatch strut and have no clue how to make that work with my existing set up.

Thanks a lot for your help.

I'd like to take a second to thank everyone who participated in the August Special of either a copy of Project Gotham for the Xbox or GT4 for the PS2. Just some info, everyone who entered the contest opted for the GT4 game. I guess that means PS2 is the official game of Nico.

Anyway, I'll be announcing the winner over the Labor Day weekend. Once all of the orders are tallied, every order will be given a number and then I'll pick a winner by drawing from a hat. Once the winner is picked, I'll post him on this thread so they can brag that they will be one of the first to own GT4. The winner will get a confirmation email from the store that is shipping the game.

Thanks again to everyone who participated.

Sorry it took so long. If forgot about taking them.

Enjoy.

BTW...can you get new Nismo steering wheels? If so how much are they and also how much is the GT rubber shift knob. I think they make it in metal and rubber. It might be called the gT2.

BTW for those who might be interested it comes with a bad to put it in when not on the car.

Also note that the inside seems to be gray, but the cover did not look as if it was reversable (i.e. all the stitching shows).

Hey dantech, how much is the actual metal bumper part (that sits behind the foam) for a 91 240sx (also if you could get the part # that'd be awesome). Any chance of that gb price you had for the kouki's of 410+s&h still available too? *crosses fingers*
