Yeah, it is.

I was actually surprised. When I got into parts, I knew hydraulic clutches needed fluid, and I was offering a customer clutch fluid, and he dropped that bomb on me. "Brake fluid is the same thing."

It didn't rain yesterday, but the past two days before it did.

We got a VERY small industrial park in Brewton. I went sliding there.

Ended up in the grass a few times. Who the crap builds a plastic factory in the way of a good slide?

Jerks.

I know... I really think they should've gave that coach alittle more time... you can't tell what is going to happen after 6 games..

maybe Tubberville didn't like him.

I moved from Tuscaloosa to Montgomery about 4 years ago for a job.. work for the state. owned a 240sx for about a year now. very neat little cars... working on saving up parts for a kouki conversion...

does that include no ricers? cuz that would be shocking and you should be grateful. been to montgomery lately? the ricer population is horrible lol...

i'm bagging your groceries at winn dixie for one cent over minimum wage, but it's about 20 hours a week so it's twice the pay of my last job! (i made 6.50 then, min wage was 5.85. i'm now the closest i've ever been and ever will be to min wage)
redrelyt12 wrote:isnt all clutch/brake fluid the same?
speaking of fluids being the same, don't let anyone tell you PS fluid and ATF are the same. they're not. zack at nissan in montgomery told me my PS probably leaks because some jackass put PS fluid in it. apparently it's a nissan thing.

i try to resist that as much as i can lol. i sure thought about it. i mean, it wouldn't have been possible cuz the Z's in montgomery but i did think about how it would be fun.

finally saw one today. bright yellow. had a body kit and a 90-93 TT wing - couldn't tell if it was a TT or not though. i was looking out the window on the transit and i saw this reflection of a nice yellow Z32. i bet for a split second i thought it was just in my mind cuz i saw it in the sky lol, but then i shot my head to the left and there it was crossing in front of the bus.

isn't it just an OEM Silvia bumper? i have a feeling it is. i love it. it looks great.

Nah, there is one riced out beyond recognition Civic. Straight outta Need For Speed Underground. Stock *** motor, burns oil, etc. etc.

Only other import in town are A/T Eclipses, that tried to pick a race with me. We don't converse anymore.

Nothing else worth mentioning.

Just a whole lot of 5.0s and 4.6s Mustangs.

Nobody is into tuning around here.

from the few years I've lived here.. you mostly see the esclades, caprices and crown vics on big rims.. what do they call them?? boxes? donks.. etc.

a majority black community... they don't care about boost or actually going fast in a car..

"LOOK AT MEEEEE"

although I give them credit for taking the effort to modify their cars to the extreme

i know you're not being racist, but i'd watch what you say. i'd say "urban". and yea, those cars are all over montgomery and it drives me nuts. big rims were the big thing and now big rims and port holes are the big thing. so, beginning of last school year i noticed that almost ALL of the big-rimmed cars got PORT HOLES! non-functioning portholes, too. portholes belong on buicks and maserati quattroportes.

not trying to be racist... but yea! urban folks LOL

I think those stick on fender trims came from an old 60's buick and somehow got adopted to any car with 22's or above.

I've seen them for sale at Walmart in the area where they also sale the tweety bird floor mats

there's a 240 in arrowhead with porthold. sad face. pretty sweet autozone chrome door and fender trim too lol. hmm... idea functional port holes with wastegate dump tube coming out lol.

the red zenki, if reffering to nicks has a navan bumper. basically oem aftermarket option in japan if that makes sense, like autech or nismo ect. i like the bulges it has on the sides

Box Chevys.

Working at O'Reilly Autoparts, it bothers me that it is the only car that comes through.

If they say,"Chevy" anything.... I assume 350.

Chrome trim, chrome door handles, chrome bug deflectors, chrome side mirrors. Chrome dress up kits.

It's so boring. The most interesting thing I've had come through was a 88 RX-7. I helped him pull primary and secondary injectors for it from a junkyard. Got to know the guy, and he dropped the whole, "I want carbon fiber everything, a body kit, vinyls, and I want a wing. I'm going to street race".

/facepalm

I'm glad my store doesn't stock portholes and I agree.

The RX-7 is pretty much lost.

At my old job, I was making $11.25/hour, I've moved on since then, making a whopping $6.75!
