Tell 'em, bro! Seems like most Z drivers be scared of aggressive fitment. It would be a shame if 240's could fit more wheel and tire than a Z32, which shouldn't be the case.

Man up, guys! I wanna see a Z with 17x10's in the front and 18x11's in the back! If we can do it, I'm sure you guys can do it better!

OMG my thoughts exactly dude, z drivers are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO conservative these days its like if you do anything unorthodox everyone is like "oh my god it doesnt look like the stillen z, thats so innapropriate!" lol. dude if it where up to me, i'd run 18x10.5 +0 offset in the back with pulled fenders and nasty camber and a healthy stretch on my tires with an 18x10 +7 in front.

I don't like the idea of 255s on an 11" wheel and I don't like the idea of only half the tire touching the ground. I want the widest wheels I can (at least in the rear) without a widebody or looking stupid (sticking way out) WITH A BIG tire, not stretched. I just don't understand why people stretch tires...
so you're saying you dont find any of this remotely attractive?

i love the look of stretched tires and mad camber though it doesnt really have a purpose for daily street driving it just looks so sick, i guess i'm a ricer but whatever.flushest z32 i can find. my ideal wheel fitment

I threw the RP03's out there because they were the closest wheel I could think of stylistically & pricewise. RPF1's don't look anything like what you originally asked for and I assumed price was an issue since you were looking at cheapie FN's. My bad.

I would mix and match in a second to get the fitment I wanted as long as the wheel's color & design don't clash with each other.

For example:17x9.5 Hyper Black Rota P45R's 245/40/1718x10 Hyper Black Rota Grid's 265/35/18

In fact, that's what I'm planning for my s13. I ain't afraid to experiment visually. I have pretty good taste. I should be able to avoid a complete tragedy...

Some of it's attractive. I like the VS-XXs, but not the trash around it. Not sure about the FD but if I had to choose, yes, I like it. The black Volks look great. Steven's car is always beautiful. And the TE37s look great too lol.

No price is definitely an issue haha. I'm in college here. I said the RPs because they're my favorite Enkei . Those and the Type RCs. They're hot.

RPF1's are great wheels, but they will definently be the next FN01RC, the way they are being whored out. Why not go aggressive witthe the RP03's? I don't know if you have seen an RP03 in SBC color IRL, but that ish is beautiful, man...

Yeah? Yeah?
I like the RP03s but not enough to buy a set. And I'm definitely not getting 19s. No way in hell lol. I want 17s, 17s/18s, or at most 18s. Probably 17s due to 1. being lighter 2. looking just as good (for most wheels) and 3. the main reason, tire prices.

I can understand. Everyone has their preferences. Especially about tire prices. But the 19x10 only weighs 24 lbs. That's lighter than my 18x8.5 Z33 anniversary wheels. That's not heavy at all.

The 18x10+22's wiegh in at 21 lbs. Heavier than the RPF1's, but better looking, IMO. I think too many ppl are too caught up on saving weight when there will be no noticable difference on a street car.

Got weight? Just add power! You've got a Z, for christ's sake...

Yeah? Yeah?
rpf1's are so plain and ugly to me, its like they should be stock wheels and i think the new hyundai genisis track editions with the rhys millen tunes come with those stock off the lot. but anyways i'm not a fan of miss matched wheel sizes i feel like it should be 18s in rear if there are 18's in front. it just looks more uniform pus why would you want to add more rotating mass to your drive wheels?

yeah he's got an NA z, and there arent too many options as far as adding power to an NA z that dont involve going tt lol.

About the power, exactly haha. NA sucks. Hopefully swapping in January.

The 17/18 would probably be for looks.

Any other good quality, good looking wheels in my price range? It doesn't seem like it, and that's why FNs seem to hit dead on with me.

Ok... I was gonna use these for my s14, but since I think I'm gonna sell it & come back to it later, I'll show you these...

18x10+22. They come in various colors/finishes, have a 5 inch lip, cost between $250-$300 & are big in the Mustang crowd. Oh... and they're TSW Thruxton knockoffs that look better than the orginals.http://www.cruizinconcepts.com...g.asp

Edit: Oh wait. I forgot... Rota makes 18x10's too.

Hell no. Not buying knock-offs. Especially TSW knock-offs lol. I'd buy those Advans/Volks for that price if that's what they were, but they're not.

Those concave wheels are 18x10+35 Rota Grids. Those are the wheels that I want to pair with 17x9.5+12 P45R's, but I want a +20 offset for the Grids instead of +35.

The flat faced ones are the smaller FWD version of the same wheel. Most of Rota's other 18x10's are +20 offset. But I've heard of them doing custom offsets though if you're willing to wait a few months. All of their 18x10 wheels seem to be in the $250 range.

Oh well. I tried. That's all I could come up with in the same price range as FN01RC's. Unless you buy used wheels, that is...

Good luck with your decision!

Thanks! I don't have a problem with used wheels as long as they're in really good shape and they're the right price.

RBwheels.com is your friend in that case. But I never see sizes I want there, though.

Exactly what I was about to say. They have nice stuff, but it's never the right size. If it IS the right size, it happens to be really expensive.

it seems like when people who don't know s*** about wheel width and/or offset buy wheels and see how s***ty they look and realize the f***ed themselves they post the wheels for sale on RBwheels for msrp prices to try and make there money back from equally ignorant people that shop there. i once saw a set of work vs-xx's in a 18x9 +50 or near that offset get sold and re sold 3 times in a month

according to rota's website they don't offer the grids in anything concave or even wider than 18x7.5, also they don't have a p45 in a 18x10http://www.rotawheels.com/wheels.asp?wheelid=20

Rota started offering Grids in concave 16x8+10 a few years ago. There's tons of 240's with them.

They came out with these larger wheels about a year ago to make money off ppl too cheap to buy TE37's. They're hard to find. Neither Rotawheels.com nor Wheeldude.com lists them, but I bet if you call Rota directly, they'll sell em to you.

But here's where I found them for sale on line. I found this thread on a Suby forum. They love Rota over there!http://www.machiii.net/wheels/grid.html

I don't think I mentioned a 18x10 P45R. But Wheeldude.com lists 19x10 P45R's for sale. Too big for my tastes, but would be hot on a Z, IMO.http://www.wheeldude.com/catal...c88de
