This is a reintroduction. I bought a new 2008 back on 12/31/07 and just traded it in on a new one. At the time I got the '08 I simply couldn't get one in Iridium Graphite that had leather, so settled on fabric. I've really missed my "bells and whistles" for the last two years so yesterday traded the '08 in on 2010 SL AWD, leather, moonroof. Wicked black/grey leather.

I feel like I got a much better deal than last time around. The only thing I'm not wild about is the new model doesn't have shifter paddles. I live up on a mountain and used them a lot coming down when the road is icey. Oh well....I LOVE my new ride. Howdy from Montana.

Bought a 2010 S AWD Phantom White on Saturday for the wife.

Traded in her 2008 Altima.

This is our 3rd Nissan, had a 1995 Truck.

My car is a 2008 Corvette and we have a 2006 Dodge Dakota.

Scott here! Getting ready to pull the trigger on a Rogue, perhaps this upcoming weekend. Have an inspector coming out to look at my currently leased Nissan vehicle.

I joined the forum to see what others are doing to their Rogue's.

I'm a long time Nissan guy, my wife just got a 2010 Rogue SL in Iridium Graphite. Being an old-school stickshift person, I thought I would hate the CVT, but I actually kinda like it! I'm in!

Hello,

I am planning to buy 2010 Rogue 360.

well there are couple of apprehensions I have. 1)how popular the model is ? I don't see very often on the roads compared to CRV/RAV4 or similar crossovers.2) what is the resale value of Rogue. I am planning to use it for 2-3 years.

My budget is ~20K. The one reason I am considering rogue is, VPP offer from Nissan and 0% APR.

do you suggest any other vehicle which could be better suited as per my requirements(Popularity/reliability/Price and resale value). I am looking for crossovers only

I went from a 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5S to a 2010 Nissan Rogue SL about one month ago (was leasing). I looked at the Murano but as others noted, I do not need the extra size or the extra costs associated with that model. The Rogue is just the right size and up to now, my wife and I love it (I bought her a 2009 Nissan Versa SL back in April).

I agree that I see many more RAV4, Murano, etc. than Rogues, but this did not detract me from the Rogue. Why? I have been a Nissan customer for many years. Starting with a "Datsun" (memories), a Sentra, a Stanza, an Altima and now the Rogue (one Ford cycle through that period... had problems with it). During that time, I had virtually zero issues with any of my Nissan cars and support was always top notch. So my trust level is Nissan is very high.

Although my Rogue SL is loaded (minus AWD & 360), there are a few items which did not make the list:

1. The only downside I noticed are the horrible blind spots in the rear. Even though the mirrors are larger than those from cars, viewing the rear requires you to pay extra attention due to the numerous large blind spots. The 360 offers a rear view camera, but it was NOT available on the SL (pity).

2. There is no built-in GPS navigation option. Now I do have the premium BOSE sound system but the navigation option, which was available in my Altima, is not offered for the Rogue. I need to use an external GPS receiver.

Now I did consider the AWD version but as I live in San Diego, I did not feel that I needed this as there is no snow here and rain is rare (not this year though). I know that AWD is supposed to give you better control, but I decided that it was not worth the extra cash.

Value... I always kept my cars well maintained so I managed to get pretty good resale values for those I owned and no penalties on my lease returns.

So basically, it boils down to personal preference. I prefer Nissan over Toyota, Honda and others so I bought from Nissan.

Thanks for your reply.I too have a very high trust with Nissan (owning 2 altimas for the pat 5 yrs) but I have seen the ranking of rogue (15 among 22 ) which is little worrysome. would you know from where I could get sales figure for Rogue, which could help me decide abou it's popularity?

Just bought a Wicked Black 2010 Rogue SL FWD for my wife. I've had a 2007 Altima 2.5S for 3 years and have loved it, and I'm excited about this new purchase. The Rogue has a few features I wish I had on my Altima (Bluetooth and 6-disc CD changer being the top two), but I'm happy with my auto on/off headlights and one-touch up windows!

I've learned a lot on an Altima forum that I frequent, and I'm looking forward to getting the most out of the Rogue (even though I'm not the primary driver) with the help of this group.

I have an '08 Rogue S Wicked Black with 18" Kasino "Jack" Rims wrapped in Faulkens. I had the cloth seats taken out and replaced with black and silver leather to match the color scheme of the interior. Haven't really tried much on the engine with the exception that I replace the restrictor and muffler with a Cherry Bomb Glasspack to make my baby loud and stand out in the crowd. I'll upload pictures once I figure out how! I love my Rogue and have ever since I first test drove it.

Post

Just bought the Rogue SL AWD in Black with Premium, Leather, Roof and towing. I don't even have the vehicle yet! Should have it later today. I have read some great things on this forum about the Rogues and I hope I am just as happy as most of you are with your purchase.

This is my first AWD vehicle and my first vehicle that is not a sports car. Being higher off the ground will be a welcome/ change! I will miss my speedy little cars, but I am 39 years old now and looking to slow down a bit now The added stability of AWD will definitely help during the New England winter weather!

Anyways, I hopefully will be a positive addition to the forum. I have already signed up for the Reliability Survey website as well.

Cheers!

Have been lurking for the past month; purchased new 2010 I.G. SL AWD the first of the month and really enjoy driving it (when I can get it from the wife!). Loaded with Premium package and Leather; just wish rear camera and homelink were available. Great experience with dealer (Fox Nissan) and definite improvement over 05 Escape. First addition will be hitch; not for towing, but bike rack. Posts on installing ones are big help in deciding what to do.

Hi EveryoneJust picked up a 2010 360 degree on Saturday. I am a die hard Nissan and Infinity Fan. I traded my (beloved) 1996 Infinity I30 with 207,000 miles for this little blue gem. The Infinity (also Nissan) had the 6 cyl engine and was one of the best vehicles I have owned. I also had a 96 Maxima with 217.000 miles that I gave to my Garage man a couple of years ago (they had become aquaintences) to loan his customers.I have a little 2004 Frontier and an M35 (also Infinity) as well. We don't drive the M much, but I plan to put around 20K per year on the Rogue. Got a fairly good deal so as of day 3 I am up to 45 miles on it. I am very happy with this Vehicle thus far. I guess you could say I have ..........GoneRogue

Hi everyone,

I purchased my first Nissan this past Saturday, a 2010 Rogue 360* AWD!!! I am very excited about the vehicle, especially since it's a Nissan. I think they are one of the top car makers out there, and I have a really good feeling I will be enjoying this car for a VERY long time!

My wife and I purchased the Phantom White, with the aftermarket leather (in Ice Grey), and I really like all the safety features included. The rearview camera is pretty cool, too.

Also, on a personal note, we just found out we're having a BOY, which just added to the excitement of this past weekend!

Cheers!

Hi - This is my second time here as I logged in for my wife's 2008 Altima Coupe a couple of years ago. Now for the 2010 Rogue S 360 that I picked up last week. I traded in my Volvo XC90 that I drove for a couple of years after the wife & I having about 15 Nissans (All new) thru the years. It started with a 1978 Datsun pickup, went thru a couple of 300ZXs, several Pathfinders and my wife has had a Maxima and a bunch of Altima's. The Volvo was great, but I was afraid that the maintenance was about to increase, the payment was sort of expensive and the mileage in town needed improving. With my previous experience with Nissan, I new that I could not go wrong - I needed something less expensive as I have just retired.

I've been lurking on the site for the past 3 weeks learning about your experiences with the Rogue and thanks to that (and edmunds.com) I just bought a 2010 AWD SL semi-loaded with the leather, premium and moonroof packages.

I drove it off the lot last night and am excited to drive it to WV this weekend - I think that's the first time I've been excited to drive!

Hi

Bought my Rogue 2010 S 2 weeks ago.Had a mini cooper before but wanted bigger cargo space for my hockey bag.

Really good price for a crossover. Drives decent for its cost.

Jello!....just brought home a black rogue SL AWD fully loaded (minus the GPS) last saturday, it was a tough battle...but i walked away with a heavier wallet and excited for more adventures with my new partner in crime! Named her Betty. After a week i've got 197 miles on it...i brought it home with 6 miles ...so far the 191 miles we've put in has been fun! Still have to go back to the dealer sort out this rear-view camera fiasco....but other than that Betty and I are getting along just fabulously!

Man this is great to have so many new Rogue owners joining up, I know this site will be helpful to you in terms of access to documentation but also as a source of other Rogue members to bounce questions and ideas off of.

What I really like about this forum is the heavy traffic and large number of members. If you have a question that hasn't already been covered, post it up and you'll have a ton of feedback within a few hours on most days, and you'll wait more than a day for a response. Also, there are a ton of really knowledgeable members on here, including our main moderator Philip240SX so be sure to take advantage often and contribute as often as you can too!

ANGELTHETWIN: Congrats the new baby that you're expecting - I bought my Rogue two years ago a month after my daughter was born and it has been a GREAT kid car - not too big and not too small, just right.
