Is the Chrome Grill on your Rogue a snap on? Can they be easlily removed and do they fit pretty tight. Thanks for info

It is held on by 3M tape and yes it fits pretty tight. No it's not snap on, snap off, once it's on it's on. But i guess it can be removed with excess application of heat like a blow dryer like most of the other products that uses 3M as adhesive. The installation is pretty easy, i did mine myself, and it makes the front of the rogue looks real prestige.

Hello Everyone,

Well I've had my Rogue for about a year and a half now and still love it! It was my first new car purchase and am extremely happy with the choice =)

It's the SL model, black exterior and gray cloth interior.

Happy to be among other ROue enthusiasts

Hi Everyone....picked up my Rogue SL, AWD 6 days ago. Agonized over the color selection. Saw them all but the Iridium Graphite, which was the one I really wanted. So, I ordered it, sight unseen. Dealer had it shipped from NJ. I'm so glad I stuck to my gut feeling. The color and the car are perfect! I live on the East end of Long Island, NY and I love to drive so having a car that is fun to drive was very important to me.

Hi Everyone,

Originally from K-W, now living in Calgary.

I bought my 2008 Rogue SL AWD (premium package, Iridium Graphite) last April 2008 and I love my Rogue!

I needed a bigger vehicle due to the recent birth of my son and I wasn't quite ready to buy a minivan at this stage in my life.

I bought the Rogue because I liked the styling, the long list of standard features, the AWD and the secure handling/peace of mind safety I have while driving the Rogue.

I followed the guidelines on Nissan's website for acceptable child car seats and I have not had any problems. It's very easy to install and remove.

Everday, I'm seeing more and more of Rogue's on the road here in cowtown which likely speaks to their popularity, good reviews and forums like this.

Overall, I am very happy with Rogue and highly recommend it.

Great forum and good info on this siteThanks!

I found this site a couple of months ago, and it has been a big help! I picked up my Rogue a week ago, after waiting a week for the exact one I wanted (ie Iridium Graphite!) to come from another dealer somewhere in the province. I got the SL AWD Premium. I opted out of getting the leather package to avoid the auto seat controls. Although I planned to get the dealer to put in leather, I actually really like the black/blue cloth, so I think I might skip that now. Maybe in a few years if they get grubby.

I love my new Rogue, and feel extremely safe in it (main reason I went with it - didn't even check out any other suvs seriously). Now I just need to sell the old car... and maybe grab some pretty silver door handles. ..err, chrome...

Hello, I live on Long Island, NY. I have my 2008 Rogue since August of 08. It's SL AWD in Black, fully loaded. with an optional Thule bicycle rack on the roof. Had to get used to the 4 cycl engine once again, since I got rid of a 1984 Peugot, I swore, I would never go back to V4. But, the high gas prices and this economy, made me come back. Overall I'm happy with it, except it started giving me transimssion problem a couple of months ago. The Service mechanic was ignorant about it, said he never heard of rogues having transmission problems. They couldnt duplicate what I told them had been happening. I'll try again at some other time

Hi folks -

I've been a car enthusiast and mechanic for many years and just took my first foray into the world of Nissan by purchasing a 2008 350Z and a 2009 Rogue on the same day (one for me, one for my wife).

I'm happy to help you out with any technical questions you might have. I have a pretty solid knowledge base about Japanese and British cars and do most of my own work. In fact, it's really weird for me to not have a car that isn't under warranty right now.

My name is Craig and I look forward to the give and take that this board has to offer. Cheers!

Hello - just bought a Silver 2009 Rogue SL AWD with Premium, Leather, and Moonroof. Haven't taken delivery yet, I'm having the dealer install the chrome grill inserts and a spoiler. Looking forward to driving it, and glad I found Nicoclub.com looks like a great community.

Hi Everyone - Sending this post from the Twin Cities. We bought a 08' SL AWD Phantom White. We got the vehicle late June 09 with 15,500 miles on it and 700 miles later its in the shop getting its transmission replaced. Looks like its not an uncommon problem based on the forums. I'm hoping to have better luck after we get the problem fixed!

Hi Folks! Bought a Silver S AWD a couple weeks ago and love it. First Nissan I've owned. I took it straight from the dealer to the tire shop and traded/upgraded the stock wheels and tires for some 5-spokes and slightly bigger tires (225/70-16). I really appreciate the incredible amount and quality of info offered in this forum. I'm a gear-head at heart and have already taken some basic measurements for a cold air intake and custom exhaust. I have a friend that spent 6 years as a fuel tech for Nissan racing so hopefully he can help me avoid any ECU glitches. If those mods don't work out, I'm still plenty happy with the overall performance.
