Hello and welcome to the club!kdearduff wrote:Hello everyone,
I/we just picked up an '09 Rogue SLawd for my fiance last night. We looked at all the different crossover SUV's and liked this one the best. This is her first new car (she's been driving an '02 cavalier since high school) and the first Nissan I/we have had since my '87 300z. I'm new to this forum, but not car forums. I drive an '07 GTI fahrenheit (any VW folks on here?).
One thing I noticed that struck me as funny while test driving the Rogue: First, we drove an S model, which was 2wd. I knew this model had a cvt transmission. We then tested an SLawd model, which had paddle shifters. Paddle shifters on a cvt? This made me think, "well, maybe the awd has a different transmission altogether". Nope! Does "shifting" with the paddles just jerk the car a little bit to make it feel like a car with gears? I drive a DSG transmission, so I get paddle shifting, but paddle shifting a cvt seemed pretty weird to me!
Well, they aren't built in Canada (the Rogue is assembled at Nissan's Kyushu plant in Japan), but Canadian model Rogue's come standard with:cdmuile wrote:Is it true the Canadian built Nissans come with a complimentary snow shovel?
