which means in otherwords, they all uses the same thread pitch based on logical deduction ;)

so what this means to you cbh, is your box was probably mispackaged somehow!

Very useful site!

Yeah, that's the same deduction I came to while on the phone with the ARP guy that kept telling me why exchanging for SR main studs shouldn't help -- there must be some mis-packaging error... or something...

My site :D

I keep meaning to get around to filling in every part # for every section but never get around to it. I took a whack at reverse engineering the FAST data files so I could dump them and import them instead of having to look up screen fulls of parts by hand and entering everything the hard way, but the format is inconsistent (I can find a pattern for one file, but another one is different, even though they're the same kind of file).

Well I certainly appreciate your efforts, and I'm sure I'm speaking for several others as well!

Got some work done tonight with the help of some friends. Crank/pistons/rods are all in and proper with the new bearings. I was able to bolt down the oil pump and water pump with existing bolts, and the parts engine (KA) will be supplying rear main seal bolts and oil pan bolts.

Found out my crank gear is chewed up really bad so I need another. Anyone got one? Also need the washer that goes in front of it (the dished washer that acts as a guide for the timing belt).

Oh, and I need a timing belt pulley too.

I want to put up pics but they all came out so crappy on my phone. :S

I can't really spare a whole lot else right now. I pretty much have one engine's worth of parts. I really need to get around to reassembling my car, but I have just been so busy and poor. Spent all my money on baller vacations, car stereo equipment (my vice), and mountain bikes. Oh and I bought my brother's E30. I really have no one to blame but myself.

Anyway, you are welcome to come by any time and pick up those bolts. we can see what else is in my box of random stuff too. I have been mountain biking several times a week, so just let me know and we will do it. Not sure what you are doing Sunday, but Ill probably be heading up to the mountain so you are welcome to join. You know, provided it doesn't dump rain all day.

not sure if you still have my #, but if you dont just PM me and ill send it to you.

Correct head studs on the way from ARP as well as flywheel bolts too! (also from ARP)

Got the head back from the shop with new valve stem seals. They pulled a vacuum on it and all the valves seal up perfect.

Going to my local Nissan dealership tomorrow to order a tensioner, tensioner spring, crank sprocket, crank sprocket washer, and maybe some other little things that I can't seem to get from the previous owner of my CA.

when you get the new crank sprocket, I suggest drilling two holes and tapping some threads in them... that way when it seizes in again, you can put a puller on it to get it out!
the metal is really hard, so you might want to get a machine shop to do it... but IMO it's worth it
