Where is this mythical land where there are no other drivers on the road? I've been to some pretty podunk areas, and I always see other cars on the highways (back roads are a different story). I do not believe this area exists anywhere near nyc.

I once saw a guy scooping brain matter off the asphalt with his hands and putting it in a clear plastic bag!
the kid was speeding in a ford explorer, lost control flipped the car killing his three passengers.

kid, seriously. there comes a point when you should remove your foot from your mouth and really just shut. the. f***. up. your sheltered, inexperienced life is causing you to do a lot of dumb s***, and for some reason, you keep trying to justify your actions, whilst gaggles (i love that word) of older, wiser, and more experienced in life people are trying to tell you how to act more responsibly. while it may be too late for an abortion, it's still not too late to have some sense beat into you. i know you still have my aim, pass it along to your parents so i can iron out the details of my services to them. my rates start around $150/hour. dumbass.

:chuckle: Nala, you've proven once again that you are a retard. You seem to have no clue how stupid and UNCOOL you were and you're making it even worse for yourself by trying to defend your actions.

I don't get it, if you were inside your car with the windows up then they would have to wait for you to get out of your car. Surely you have a garage with an electric opener, just pull into your garage and close the garage door THEN get out of the car.

Nice, but you realize for Nala, compared to to his competition, he'd be unarmed.

Yea. Never had to actually pick any up, but seen it before, scattered across a car hood. The kid was 18 and hit a tree. No airbag. Metal steering wheel. Head connected with the steering wheel, caving in his head. He was speeding, screwing around in the car with his friends. 3 guys in total. They were doing about 120. Don't phuck around nala. I'm being serious. The guys cleaning your a** off the street may not feel that bad for you, but I'm sure your parents will mind.

I try so hard not to hate you Nala, but you don't make it easy.

If you did 100mph for 2 mins that's 3.3... miles. You risked killing yourself, totaling your car, thousands of $s in fines, killing someone else, thousands of $s in medical bills / insurance premiums to try and win $530??????? That wouldn't even cover lawyers fees if you had gotten caught.

Stop failing.

That doesn't change the fact that you were doing 100mph on a public road.
Actually, it does.

The biggest gripe from you people is that he is endangering other people's lives.

If no one is around I don't really care, and neither do you. You are just giving him a hard time because it is Nala.

you would stick up for him. the kid is lying. there is no point during any day that there is not another single vehicle with you on a ny/ct/ma/nj/ri interstate. even in the dead of night, there are tractor trailers everywhere. and his fellow game player/pursuer was on the road with him. he made a poor choice and decided to brag about it. that's why he's getting a hard time.

Plus, even if he was telling the truth, it's a public road that isn't blocked off. What is to stop someone from merging onto it? And what if it happens to be one of those people that likes to dart immediately across all lanes of traffic without looking to get to the left lane. Would nala be able to adjust? My guess is wreck...

I understand that.

I was just quoting Otto MCR exactly.

I find it a little humorous that some of you are talking about wrecking and hurting/killing yourself. All those things can/do happen at the track. So that removes those points from the argument.

I don't think anyone should go that speed unless everyone is, but if the road were truly empty I would see no problem with it.

big difference here. how long would it take emergency response to arrive at the scene of a highway accident as opposed to a track? what track would allow a full sized suv on it? any track big enough to reach 100mph isn't going to let any joe schmoe open their vehicle up on it without experience/training and proper safety equipment. so no, those points aren't removed from the argument.

This is BS. People are always around. Do you have any idea how far a car can roll when ti goes out of control? I can remember numerous first aid calls from people who were sitting in their house eating dinner, watching tv, sleeping, only to have a car come through their wall.

Those things can and do happen at a track, but the medics are 30s to 1 min away, not 15-30. Youre usually wearing a helmet, and the only people around are other drivers racing as well in a predictable (mostly) manner. And the people you crash into wont sue you, and your insurance won't go up. The public road is nowhere near as controlled as a racetrack, so that removes your point from the argument.

PMQ, Are you really trying to compare an experienced driver in a tech approved car wearing a helmet in a controlled, focused, closely monitored environment like a race track, that has firetrucks and EMT's on full alert standing by within seconds, with a inexperienced moron, (who totalled his last car in a frigging high school parking lot) in his mom's ill handling, top heavy SUV drivng almost twice the speed limit on a public highway located in one of the more densely populated areas in the country, with another idiot chasing him?

That does NOT remove any points from your argument, dummy. In fact, what you've accomplished is make people want to compare you to Nala. :slap:

That's funny. I can take my station wagon to the track this evening if I want. It doesn't leak any fluids, all safety equipment works, and I have an approved helmet. That means I can run it!

There is no experience required to get on the track.

BS. Let's all look back to PMQ's little thread about speeding, stating the exact opposite. Some one post the link too it, I'm on my phone.
