Ok, here is what I have figured out.
The ASE664http://babelfish.altavista.com....html
ASC680http://babelfish.altavista.com....html
Display: The asc680 has a duel led blacklight, and a much nicer display throughout IMO.. I also like the arrows as opposed to buttons
Features of ASC680http://babelfish.altavista.com....html
Features of ASE664http://babelfish.altavista.com....html
Summary- Both have speedometer functions. The ASC680 has height monitoring capability. The real time which is sent from the height sensor Height data bar graphical representation. You can verify height state at the glance. Bad translation, but you get the point. I kind of like the real time height display. The ASE doesn't have this feature. The ASC680 has five height memories, including normal. 6 total. Five setting height memory possibilities < Industry beginning >It includes normal and changes height, simply at switches 1 of 6 sorts possibility. The ASE has 3 height memories and normal.. Or possibly a total of 3.. either way it has less memory..
The ASE has a few features the ASC doesn't, however. It can auto adjust at a given speed, and you can get a remote to change between the different memory settings.
Conclusion:
ASC680 has a better screen, real time height monitoring, and more memory settings. The ASE can change based on speed, and can be operated via remote.
Price: With todays translation the ASE would cost:
29,400.00 JPYJapan Yen = 260.414 USDUnited States Dollars
$260 USD + shipping.. So roughly between $300-320 or so. The ASC680 costs at a minimum $530 (thats the price he quoted only for me) $630 regularly. This includes harness.
You can make up your own opinions about which display you like, and which features you prefer..
Basically the ASE is 1/2 cost.
The ASC also may be easer to install
It can do also the model setting which is necessary when installing, simply with the car species name indication with dot matrix display.
I don't see anything like this noted for the ASE, although I doubt it's a big deal..
