Anyone take or re-cert their ASE tests this month? I took my P1 heavy truck parts test last week. I thought it was rather easy. My co-worker re-certed all his auto mechanic tests two days ago, he thinks he did well. I have 5 auto mechanic ASEs I have to re-certify in sometime in the future. I'm going after master parts specialist, well I am going to try at least. Was anyone's test taken by computer or were they all Scantron based?

I have to re-cert for 3 of my auto tests next cycle, but Im just going to do all 8 so I wont have to keep signing up for re-certs every cycle. I should also get around to taking my L1 one of these days. Ive been putting it off out of laziness.

Surfing through the catalog and I am smacking myself in the head right about now. I could have taken the P3 and P9 test the same day, they cover the same topics as the P1 I took.

I haven't tried the L1 yet and more than likely I won't either, I'm a bin lizard these days so no need. That and I haven't turned a professional wrench in 6 years now, so much has changed since I was in the business I would be quite lost.
