As we're all preparing for Christmas vacations, wrapping gifts and traveling here and there, I just wanted to drop a quick note in here for all of our current members:

First off, please be careful during the holidays. It's always crazy on the roads right now - people are in a hurry, preoccupied with what they're going to buy, some are traveling home from Christmas parties after too much to drink, and the weather at this time of year doesn't help at all... Please look out for each other and come home safely.

Second, don't forget to remember the sentiments behind the holiday season. Even if you don't celebrate Christmas, it's a good time of year to reflect on our blessings. We spend all year scratching and clawing, trying to get ahead. Many of you have been hammered by the economy, and we've seen good people lose their homes, their jobs, their cars, etc. because of it. Even after all that, we're still very fortunate to have what we have, and I hope each of you takes a minute to give thanks for that. We're gonna be ok - Things can only get better.

Third, I want to thank all of you here on the forums for an exciting and entertaining 2010. We accomplished a lot this year, hosting our first standalone national meet, moving the entire site to a new platform, a new hosting company and new software, we added forums for several new offerings from Nissan and Infiniti, and we saw some impressive growth and expansion.

Lastly - I hope you've all enjoyed the stuff we do here as much as I do. Becky and I are truly blessed to be the captains of this ship, and we enjoy getting to know people from all over the world through our shared love of cars. We've shared a lot of laughs, fought and gotten mad, helped each other out, learned some tough lessons, and we've continued to build a strong community. I get a lot of emails from new members, and people in the automotive industry, and I hear nothing but good things about the members here - how active the forums are, how helpful we've been, and how eager you guys are to assist new people.

If you haven't already done it, I hope you'll all take a moment to tell us about your project, help someone out who's lost, or invite a friend to stop in and see what we do here. Stay tuned - There's always something new and exciting happening.

We appreciate all of you, and we're looking forward to stepping it up a notch in 2011.

Blessings and Best Wishes to all of you.

Greg and Bex and the staff of NICOclub.com

I can absolutely say that 2010 has been, for the most part, the worst year of my life. I am very much looking forward to it's end, and moving forward to a much better period in my life.

I wish everyone here a happy and safe holiday season, and a special thanks to Greg and Bex for keeping this site up and running, and their genuine care for it's members. Both of you have periodically checked in on me this year, and I want you both to know that it does mean a lot.

PS: Will 2011 be the year that Nala finally gets laid?... Stay tuned.

im going to miss 2010, i got a chance to meet some of the coolest people this year and do some pretty intense shiz, got rid of a few problems of my own and pretty much figured some things out that needed tending to. I look forward to ripping up carlisle again in 2011, this time with 10x more CLASSIC LAGER

Happy Holidays people!
Personally, I'd like to thank our members (who aren't moderators) that put in the extra effort to consistently help out new members and answer a lot of questions that get posted on this site. You're the reason the internet is such a powerful tool.

Likewise Greg!

This forum is much like a family and is why I keep coming back to it. I'm glad I've met a lot of awesome individuals from this forum!

I feel as though 2010 has been "interesting" to say the least.
Everything will be all right. :)

I think it has been a fun year for Nico. Where's the best of 2010 thread?

This year has been not so great on alot of ways as in getting arrested and having super crappy jobs that pay nothing, but better in other ways like doing good in school (that counts most right now). I hope next year I will be on a better more consistant path

I wonder if we could find a keg of classic lager.. I mean 5 cases would only cost like $35 so its not like its a huge outlay either, LOL!

BTW I think nissan should be paying this site huge royalties for brand loyalty... I for one (and im sure many others) would probably not keep buying nissan brands (new or used) had it not be for this site... We all might own crappy cars, but they're OUR crappy cars!! :)

This is easily the best damn year I've had in a decade. Ended crappy relationships, grew my balls back, and got my future more sorted out.

I'm more convinced of my awesomeness than I've ever been.

Love you crazy guys.

Overdrive sucks. It implies an automatic transmission. This is a car enthusiast site, so let's shift this thing into 6th gear?

doesn't overdrive simply mean a transmission gear ratio less than 1:1? sure, it's used to name the standard position for the PRNDL lever, but that's not all it is. also, i'm sure nico would have a manual transmission, but what's to say it's not a 5-speed, hmmm? :gapteeth:
