doesn't overdrive simply mean a transmission gear ratio less than 1:1? sure, it's used to name the standard position for the PRNDL lever, but that's not all it is. also, i'm sure nico would have a manual transmission, but what's to say it's not a 5-speed, hmmm?

Yes it does. "Overdrive" is often thought of as a cruising gear. Technically, the manual trans in the 240 is a 5 speed overdrive.

2010 was a mixed bag. My first Nico event, Omaha. Got to meet some of the great people on this site in person. Got to BS with The legend himself, Greg.
I also gained and lost a terrible job, struggled financially, watched a friend almost vanish because of addiction.

2011 holds a new baby for me, Jan. 18th, or sometime around there I will get to hold the second human being I have made. I'm 3 and 1/2 years into the first girl and I still have no idea what I'm doing, or what I've done, but she amazes me on a daily basis. I think I'm doing something right, I hope I can repeat the performance.

on a more important note (lol), Nico's official rally car will see its first event in May of 2011. I am giddy with anticipation, and also nervous about the financial situation I am in at the moment. I know Ian can handle his entry fee, I'm gonna be grindin' for mine.

I would really like to thank Greg and Becky for keeping this whole thing going, and all the moderators for their hard work in keeping this from becoming a crappy car forum, there are plenty out there.
