i cannot for the life of me get the 2 bolts at the top of the bellhousing off, its such a small fit and i can only get a socket and wrench in there wtf, how do you get these things off, iam torqueing the crap outta of em that is lifting me off the ground

Drop the transmission crossmember, get a really long extension, a swivel socket, and a breaker bar, or Impact wrench, if you have access to air.

I did it with a 1/4 ratchet, 12 inch extension, 3 inch extension and 2 u-joints. it was also about 5* outside that night.

ok the swivel socket sounds like a good idea i may try that.

I used a ratcheting box end wrench with 5 degree clicks, there was one bolt that I could only get one click on per movement, I had to put my hand in behind the intake manifold where the heater hoses go into the cabin and that one bolt was such a bear. Funny how after removing the automatic and putting the manual in I was able to get to the same bolt from under the car much easier to tighten it. Dang automatic was just too big to get it from the underside I tried, but I didnt think of a swivel bit.
