When I was little I wnated to be a teacher (original, right?). But then my mom became a substitute teacher and that went away. Then I wanted to be a professional skateboarder. Made amateur status, but then quit because I took up wanting to be a chef. Went to college for that and enjoyed it for a while and somewhere along the line after graduation decided I should be a dietician. Accomplished. Shortly after, the people (aka patients) drove me insane so I set sights on a similar career; food science.
I'm now in product development for a large seafood company where I'm 1. corporate chef 2. new product development for frozen products 3. sales (when I'm on the road with them to promote or give an ideation session with a customer or potential customer). I wear many more hats than a typical person in my position, but they're not worth going into detail over.
Oh, and I taught for a short stint at a vocational school while I was in school. In some way, I guess I've become what I've wanted to- aside from being a fighter pilot.
